Zoubi restaurant is New Hope's hidden gem. Tucked away on Mechanic Street, Zoubi serves American Cuisine with a European touch prepared by Chef Francisco Barrios. We are serving dinner only Thursday through Sunday with indoor and outdoor seating available.

We have been to so many restaurants and felt like we have been in a rut lately. There is always something that seems to be missing from the food/drinks/ambiance/service. It is all so blasé We were pleasantly surprised by Zoubi. Nestled between two other restaurants, it is a hidden gem. Once you walk through the bushes up the stairs and around the corridor you are immediately transported to a magical European al fresco wonderland. It was amazing! the food was absolutely outstanding, I literally wanted to go into the kitchen and try everything. I had the fish special and I was apprehensive about the truffles, but let me tell you Zoubi knows how to do truffles. It was so delicate and balanced and the flavors danced! My husband's dish was delicious as well, but I barely got to try it because he finished the plate. The wine menu is curated and suggestions were A+. Perfectly flavored and nuanced dishes. From the apps to entrees to desserts it was fantastic. Alix was a great server and we also enjoyed the delightful Frenchman who said he handpicked every bottle on the menu. Normally don't write reviews, but I have been raving to everyone since Saturday evening, Zoubi is a must try. Can not wait for our next visit.

We were expecting a much better meal for our anniversary dinner considering Zoubi’s reputation and Top 100 ranking on OpenTable’s Top 100 restaurants list. Although the restaurant was charming in appearance, the food and service were quite the opposite. Salad was way overdressed and overly salty. Our entrees (a pasta dish for me and a fish dish for my husband) took over an hour to come out (after the salad). I had to ask several times about the status of our meal. When my dish finally came out, my pasta was cold as if it had been fired way too soon relative to my husband’s dish. I had to send my dish back because of the temperature and because the noodles had congealed together. Our waitress barely stopped by our table so we had to ask another waitress for refills on our water. All and all, it was one of the more disappointing meals I’ve had and made even more disappointing because I was genuinely excited for our dinner here.

Service is warm and friendly. The food was fantastic. The roasted oysters are a must have. Tuna poke fresh and just a hint of spicy. The broiled tune with soba noodles amazing and perfectly prepared. Drinks: a cosmo, bottle of French rose’ and espresso martinis. The pistachio dessert another must try. We need to dine here more often.

Wonderful waitress. Delicious food. Manager/owner could take some lessons from the server. He is abrupt, borderline on rude!

Each of the 4 of us had a fantastic dinner! To start off, we shared Tuna Poke, Grilled Octopus, Grilled Colossal Shrimp, Baked Oysters and Raw Oysters. Our entrees' consisted of Sesame Crusted Tuna, Jumbo Lump Crabcake, Pan Seared Summer Flounder and Herb Crusted Lolliops of Lamb. There was no room for dessert, but we had some anyway! All outstanding. I must admit that there was one disappointment -- the Scallop Noodle & Short Rib entree' was missing from the menu!!!

It is a great place to have a very good meal. Owner/ bartender is a gracious host making you feel like a very welcomed guest. The staff are charming and efficient.
