We love the Twisted Tail!! Everything was great!! The Food, the drinks, the waitress, and the ambiance! The only thing that we suggest is that during dinner when people are trying to talk to each other, the music could be a little quieter. We couldn't hear each other talk!! Maybe it could get louder after 9:00, when the dinner crew is done! We love music, but we want to be able to catch up with people at the table and hear their stories!!

The server was overbearing. She stood by our table and wouldn't stop talking. She kept telling us that everything we chose were small bites so we needed to order more. Completely untrue and we could not finish our food. Our original choices would have been plenty . Have eaten there before and really enjoyed my meal. Not this time!

Went for brunch with friends. No big deal, food was okay, service was ok ( our waitress came back a lot to check) and the musician who played was loud. Not my favorite place to go and doubt that I will return

A twisted tale. The “rules” and lack of price transparency made us feel we had been scammed. We had a party of 8 for a Friday evening. Despite the menu having all items listed with individual prices, we were told we *had* to order 5 items portioned for the entire table “family style” with no possible accommodations for people with dietary restrictions (unless we ordered more food at extra cost). There was no mention on the menu or website of that parties over a certain size would have to order in this way. In addition, we were not told what the cost of this “family style” food would be. The amount of food was far more than what we would have ordered individually, and the vegetarian options were severely lacking. For the pleasure of this experience we paid >$80/person including tax and mandatory 20% gratuity, and 1-2 drinks per person. If we had known we’d be paying a premium we would have chosen a much better restaurant.

Our first time dining at The Twisted Tail, and we loved it so much that we want to go back for Mother’s Day! Tatiana took excellent care of us. The cheese platter was amazing as was the chicken and waffles. Located in a beautiful area with ample parking. Loved the live jazz music that was at a volume enjoyable enough to hear it while still being able to converse with the table.

Small portions and a bit overpriced for the quality of the food but still a fun experience overall and excellent service. Live music upstairs is a huge plus as that was awesome!

As always, the food was outstanding. Our server was very attentive and helpful. There were four of us in our party and we were slow to order but she was understanding and did not rush us. The only negative was the noise level. When we arrived, it was fine but as the restaurant filled, it got very noisy and difficult to hear each other. Despite the noise, we had a wonderful time and will be sure to come again. The Twisted Tail is one of our favorite restaurants in Philadelphia and we come several times a year.

The entire experience was much better than the last time we were there (Restaurant Week 2020). Our server, Chloe, was phenomenal and explained the tasting menu, which we ended up ordering. We will be back!

Everything was great my only thing is when we got seated it almost 15 minutes before the manager came to our table to greet us. I know it wasn't our server because he stopped to say I'll be back never come back but after all Everything else was great

It was a great experience! Everything from the vibe of the restaurant to the food and service was pleasant. We tried a few of the small plates and besides the shrimp being under seasoned, everything was tasty. I’m excited to go back.

Food was excellent! The service was just as amazing. Our waiter Hunter was funny, very knowledgeable of each menu item, and super welcoming. The staff checked in with us more than once and always kept us informed if any drinks were taking long (Not a long wait either way). Once the band got set up and started, the noise level elevated slightly but nothing unsettling. We were still able to carry on conversations just fine. For a first time visit, this place really made quite the first impression. Will be dining here again!

Restaurant was not busy by any means but I waited for over 30 minutes for someone to take my order. My wine glass was dirty when it arrived and the food was very bland.

Well....it's Valentines Day. I caught a flat after dropping my wife off in the restaurant to find parking. We explained to the restaurant, that we are probably missing our reservations since we had to wait in my vehicle for roadside. While we we waited, manager by the name of Anthony, was AMAZING!!!! He took our order and served us food, in my vehicle while we waited for roadside. Everything was AMAZING and we will be coming back for my wife's birthday next month. This was a Valentine's Day for the books!

This place is always great. We shared the burrata, pork belly and the fried chicken. Everything was delicious and it was hard to pick a favorite. Our server was very friendly and helped us narrow down what we wanted to order. The drinks are always on point too

Smoked salmon benedict was very good. Egg could have been cooked 30sec less and the hollandaise was unexpectedly mustardy. Not bad just unexpected.

The ambience, food, drinks and service was Amazing. The double cut pork chops with the broccolini, oyster mushrooms and leek cream sauce was absolutely delicious! We cannot wait until we go again and I’ll be ordering the same exact thing!!!

✅Service ✅Food ✅Drinks ✅Location ❌Being seated directly next to entertainment. Was seated while VERY talented keyboard & vocalist must have been on break. Our party of 5 socializing, enjoyable. Five minutes later break must have ended, entertainment resumed, couldn’t hold another conversation the remainder of our reservation. Disappointing. Ruined brunch.

I can't say enough about the Twisted Tail. I will definitely be back. The service was exceptional!! The hostess, Deesarine, was beyond amazing, and Colleen was very helpful in showing us around. I will be back for sure.
