Mash House spirits, menu options, and specialty desserts are a must when you’re in the area looking for great local flavors. The chef, Tony, is a master of his craft, and the staff always offer excellent, quality service. You won’t be disappointed with Mash House as your choice.

Normally, my family has had good experiences here. This time was not the case. Our server was not familiar with the menu, specifically the special menu for the day. Our order was not put in correctly. Our food did not come out together and two of our meals were grossly overcooked. I hope this was an off day, because this used to be one of our favorite spots for special occasions.

Was looking for a place for a quiet dinner for my birthday. Arrived for 715 reservation and was seated immediately. Service and food was great. Will definitely return

Made a reservation for 6:45, arrived 5 minutes early and still waited for 10 additional minutes. Upon being seated we wait for another 5 minutes and our waitress arrived(she was so bad I don't remember her name). We placed our drink order. Waited another 10 minutes or so and she finally came back to ask if we wanted appetizers(order salmon bites, cheesy garlic bread, and a Caesar salad) once we placed that order we waited maybe another 5 minutes and she came back to take our entree order(my husband order the beef tips, I ordered the teriyaki chicken with broccoli). After we order we literally waited 40+ minutes to receive cold food. The waitress NEVER came back to ask if we were ok, did we need refills, NOTHING. Meanwhile there were patrons who came in well after us and they had drinks(with refills) and their appetizers and salads were brought to them QUICKLY. I am not saying that our waitress was racist, but she was MOST CERTAINLY uncomfortable serving my husband and I. The manager was called and he did remove the entrees, which we were thankful for, but the waitress who served us should NOT be serving if she is not willing to provide all patrons the SAME gratitude and service. The establishment itself was clean and inviting, but not the service. This was my 1st and last time dinning at The Mash House. Also please note that this review is not written out of anger, but more so to shed light on the service being provided. Location: Fayetteville, NC

Was there for the Valentine's Day Special. The waiter and other wait staff were awesome! The meal on the other hand not so good. Appetizer of calamari was decent, salads average, the main course and dessert was the disappointment. The asparagus was cold, the garlic mashed potatoes were cold and had chunks of garlic rather then a good garlic flavor. Jasmine rice was cold plain white rice with a junk of seasoning on the bottom. The steak and Salmon were ok, we've had better. The dessert, cheese cake with strawberries, was awful. Cheese cake was dry and the strawberry topping tasted and looked like Smucker's strawberry jam.

We were met by a very enthusiastic receptionist and seated right away. Our waitress was right there with a smile on her face and a genuine wish to make our dinner a pleasant one and she did. The food came quickly and right on time and was delicious. We have always had a good experience at the Mash House and this exceeded our expectations.
