The Depot Restaurant - Seaview features casual fine dining offering a Chef's Table to watch owner Chef Michael Lalewicz perform his magic from a display kitchen. The covered heated deck adds outdoor seating. A northwest and international wine list offers 16 wines by the glass, five microbrews and a hard cider on-tap. This 132 year old train station from the peninsula's Clamshell Railroad feels like a French Bistro especially when seated at the 9 seat counter reminding one of the Orient Express. Northwest Palate claims "Lalewicz has food angels in the kitchen" and food writer Gerry Frank of the Oregonian declares "the Depot is one of the best Dinner Houses in the Northwest"

It was my 76th birthday and I have severe allergies to glutten. And they made me feel like a queen with lots of gutten-free choices. The food and the service was fabulous. Be sure to make reservations the place is always busy. Well worth your time and money.

Amazing dinner as always! We had the steak with the blue cheese butter, it was cooked perfectly. The crème brûlée was delicious. You can’t go wrong with the depot. We always have amazing food.

Great server and we were the only guests on the patio! The Steak Killian was perfectly grillled and tender! The audience gratin potatoes are my favorite! My friends had Salmon that was a white king and lovely as was the Thailand scampi! A lovely meal and service! A little noisy but that seems to be the norm . We will return.

We had a great anniversary dinner with very yummy dinners. I had the newest scallop entree with spinach and diakon radish salad, and it was delicious. My husband had the clams bucatini and it was (as usual) delectable! The Depot is always our staple go to restaurant for all of our special occasions!

We love The Depot and come back every time we visit!! The food and ambiance are the best in the peninsula! 5-star!! The best ribeye anywhere!! Love Don, our server who only works Friday & Saturday!! Love Jessica. Love Westin, the busboy!!! Thank you for a great experience!!

This is normally a 5-star experience but last night they were off their game. There were four of us two had the duck, one had oysters and the last individual had clam chowder and scallops. The waitress failed to ask if he wanted them as an appetizer and entree or to serve them at once. She chose to bring them at once but the scallops were cold when they arrived. The waitress brought them back flamed and burned on the top and cold on the bottom. For a high end restaurant this should have been fired from scratch. The green beans were soggy and limp, there was only one carrot in my mixed vegetables and the cherry duck sauce was not up to normal standards. All in all a big disappointment to a place we love.

I have meant to dine at this place since I moved here 15 years ago. At last, on my birthday, I decided to get 'er done. What a pleasant surprise. At nice quiet atmosphere, friendly staff and very good hot fresh from the kitchen. I had the halibut with mushrooms and a delicious sauce and roasted vegies. Had steamer clams as a starter, which were about the best I have had. Great bread to accompany them as well. We will go there again in the near future. A great value and I am unable to find anything wrong with this place, which is unusual for me. I am very picky about the places that I eat, but this was a real treat for us. They even provided us with a complementary birthday dessert that was excellent, as well.

Somewhat pricey. Especially the cocktails. Well drinks $12, martinis $14. And not a very generous pour for the price. Two people for dinner... one drink each, one soup, one salad, one shared appetizer...$70. However, the French Onion soup was delicious.
