It was chaotic yesterday for mothers day. Staff were running around. Wasnt really good ambience. Felt more fast food service looking at the rushed state of the kitchen area and walking areas. Waiting time was very long for our entrees. 1. 5 hours. At the same time my sliced filet mignon was dry for the most part. Too quickly cooked from the looks of it. I asked for medium well. Inside was pink and outside was dry. Waiter was very overwhelmed. He wrote our order down and still forgot to put in our mother's order and the asparagus for the table. She had to wait longer for hers, while the rest of the 5 people had their entrees and were eating. The manager came over and apologized and only stated about her chicken and said that was the only thing missing. I mentioned the asparagus but she was trying to cover it up like they didn't miss it. Asparagus was an easy fix. I wish they just owned up to it though. At the end, when our dishes were being packed the waiter asked if I wanted the au gratin I said no. It was not part of my particular order anyway. It was my boyfriends although i understand it says for the table. I restated it's his and to put it in his bag. In the end, it ended up in my bag still. It just felt disorganized, not smooth for the mothers day dinner. Not good scenery as it was chaotic just to look at. I would suggest looking at the table we were at too since my entree plate was not on even table. It looks like the table folds and it was not straight at all, my plate was repeatedly clanging on the table when I was cutting and etc. Got safety reasons it should be checked. We felt like the taste of the food was decently good though, but because of the chaoticness of it I'm unsure if I would to come back.

My experience was wonderful Matthew was great courteous attentive food was nice fresh and hot will be back!! What a great mother day spent with my kids!!

Great way to spend Mothers Day. Bob and Danny were awesome. Thank you to the chef for accommodating our requests. Everything was amazing and what a wonderful candle to come honey with. Much better than a flower. Thank you

We celebrated a graduation at The Capital Grille in Philadelphia. It exceeded our expectations. They made the day special for our son. The food was excellent. The steaks were cooked perfectly and my salmon was excellent. Great vegetable selection and the desserts were decadent. Our server was the best and went out of his way to make this a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend the Capital Grille in Philadelphia.

Never had meal at any Capital Grille that wasn't up to the standard of a high end steakhouse. Steaks were fine quality and cooked to perfection, as were the sides. We had asparagus, mashed potatoes and truffle fries. Although we ate early, the restaurant was busy. It looked like Temple had a graduation that evening....but I'm not sure. Anyway, I entertain customers at Capital Grille often, and never am disappointed. Our server was also very nice.

Food was fantastic. Our server, Ian, was attentive and friendly. It was my son's birthday and they decorated the table and gave him a complimentary dessert. Looking forward to eating there again!

Enjoyed the margaritas and mojitos to start dinner. Calamari appetizer was awesome (little spicy). Our filets were cooked perfect and delicious. Overall, the food and service was excellent. I would recommend the Capital Grille!

We had a fantastic night out celebrating our son’s 18th birthday! Our server, Zach, was the best server we have had in our many trips here! I can’t say enough good things about him. The other managers were also super and checked in on our meal as well. The food was terrific as is expected from them! I can’t wait to go there again! If you go ask for Zach, he made our night!

The foods are fresh to prepare. We really enjoy the tasty foods. It’s my sisters birthday celebration. There was a very nice birthday card on the table with a little confetti to welcome her. At the end of our meal, there was a birthday’s dessert for her with a lit candle. The restaurant made my sister very happy and memorable. We definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Capital Geille in Philly was amazing ! They are so connected to dining experience. My 11 year old son and I went for a night out and both had the New York strip steaks cooked med rare and thy were unbelievable. Attention to detail and service was on point. Our favorite thing it to travel to different places and find a CG anywhere and always count on there consistency.

What a lovely experience! From start to finish everything was on point. The lobster bisque had generous amounts of chunks of lobster. My mom was thoroughly excited about how much was in there. The French onion soup was top-notch. I had the fried lobster special and Mom had a lobster tail. Both were cooked elegantly. The waiter noted that it was our birthdays and bought out a complementary dessert. The Bohemian cocktail I could have drank all night, but I had to drive. Kudos!!!!

Wonderful ambience and terrific food. Our server Bob was friendly, informative, attentive, quietly enhancing our evening by graciously assisting/never intrusive. Food was scrumptious! Our friends had the chunky lobster bisque and the NY Strip and we split the wedge and I had sea bass while my husband enjoyed the chicken. We come to Philadelphia from CA on business and we come here each visit. It’s a must!!

Our service team of Bob and Robbie greeted us quickly, explained menu items and gave us plenty of time to decide. Our dinner was not rushed and the food was prepared as described and requested.

Capital grill is a really good steakhouse but the bottles of wine are too expensive. Probably 3-4 times the street value. I ordered a Filet mignon medium and it was medium well. Probable I would order it medium rare next time. Great ambience and great service!!!
