KEFI, meaning “good humor,” our 2nd floor dining room features Greek and American cuisine. YORGOS RESTAURANT & LOUNGE (1st floor)—Casual pub fare, craft beer, cocktails. LITTLE MYKONOS (3rd floor)—Entertainment and rooftop terrace dining overlooking Lancaster city.

Yorgos Lancaster is located at the corner of Orange & Queen Street in Lancaster, Pa. Established in 1989 at the historic former site of Zimmerman’s. Yorgos serves lunch, dinner, and late-night fare 7 days a week, and breakfast on the weekends. They offer an extensive array of craft beers, cocktails, liquors, and a large wine and champagne selection for dinner.

Two exquisite venue options are available to accommodate large parties and events. Call to inquire about event and large dinner party availability, and rooftop terrace dining.

We ate upstairs twice with parties of 4 and 6 this week. Our meals were wonderful (everyone was pleased and we ate a variety of food choices), we never felt rushed, and our server was efficient and friendly. Cannot give any other eatery in the city higher praise.

My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday with the hopes of trying some genuine greek food. The upstairs restaurant is really nice with a nice quiet atmosphere unlike the downstairs bar area. The wine and our waitress were good but that's about it. The food is on the level of Applebee's or microwave food at the best. I ordered the greek sampler. The meatballs were hard, so hard that I cut one and it flew off my plate. The rest of the sampler just tasted like it was frozen food that they tossed in the microwave with not much flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Pastitsio. His was not any better. It was a square of gelatinous macaroni with some meat on the bottom with more pasta. Maybe their sandwiches are better. We most likely will not return. Very disappointed.

A nice variety of items on the menu both traditional Greek and American. My only minor complaint is that, on more than one occasion, prime rib or filet come out more well done than requested. Usually it is too much of a hassle to send it back especially when dining with 3 or more persons.

We had an amazing experience at Yorgos! From the host that sat us to the server that helped us make menu choices, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The food was beyond delicious! The bar is downstairs and it was crowded and a little noisy, so if you want that experience, choose a downstairs table. We ate upstairs in the dining room where it was quiet and the view outside was so pretty with the blue and white lights in the tree outside the windows. Would recommend Yorgos whole-heartedly, we loved it!!

The owner and staff were very friendly and the food delicious! I will be going back. But I would recommend requesting seating away from kitchen and elevator area. We were seated right next to that area and there was a party else where going on in the building so there was constant noise and use of the elevator right next to us. A table in that area is not so great. Too close to kitchen/elevator area. Outside of the seating area, it was great and I will request seating now that I know the layout.

We had reservations for Kefi at 7:00. Our table was not ready and we agreed to be seated at a table on the 3rd floor. We were the only table at that venue which was a little bit of a downer. Overall, the four of us had had a very good time and the food and service was excellent. We'll be back in the near future.

Yorgos has so much more than the downstairs bar area most locals see. The food, whether at the bar or at Kefki upstairs, is always well prepared, fresh, and flavorful. Have been here many times over many years and staff is always both professional and friendly. Kefki outshines many other upscale dining establishments with a very elegant and soothing decor. This is a restaurant run by owners who really care about doing things right and providing customers an outstanding dining experience!

We visited Yorgos Lancaster on New Year’s Eve. Amazing waiter (I don’t remember his name, but he was tall and thin)… super nice and attentive (but not overly so…). He suggested a wine which turned out to be very excellent. The food was good. We were seated at a wonderful table upstairs by the window. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Just a really nice experience. Thank you!

We had a great meal eating upstairs. The wine list was extensive and our server was kind enough to let us try before we ordered. We shared a saganakiappetizer, which was delicious. Each of our entrées was well prepared. Generous portions. Great experience. Would definitely come back the next time we are in Lancaster.

After we women traveled to Greece, we took our husbands to Yorgos for Greek food. It was a great evening with authentic food. One of the owners came to our table and told us about his family's history with the restaurant. We felt warmly welcomed!

This was our first time at Yorgos and it certainly will NOT be our last! We were welcomed with a friendly greeting by Gus. We were taking up to the second floor where our server was prompt to attend to us. We had a delicious sausage appetizer, Spanakopita was fresh and flavorful. My husband had Pork Flat Iron steak that was excellent. The veggies were so fresh! This is our new favorite restaurant for sure!!

We have dined here before and this time we brought friends. We were not disappointed! Lamp Chops were large and perfectly done. Everyone one at our table was pleased with the service and the food.

Everything was absolutely fantastic. Very authentic and delicious! I had gotten the fish my husband a steak we had the Mezzedes and my son pasta. Everyone happy, we will be back.

This was booked at the last minute and the restaurant was extremely accommodating. We had a group of 6 We were seated immediately we were sat at a round table which was great. We could all interact. The waiter was great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks which were great. The food was absolutely delicious. We will be back again

It was mine and my husband’s anniversary and we had reservations at Yorgos. When we got there the hostess saw that it was our anniversary and asked if we wanted to go upstairs to their other restaurant Kefi that was a little more formal instead of downstairs at the tavern style restaurant Yorgos. When we went upstairs we had a great server named Josh, who was very pleasant and helpful. We were given a complimentary champagne glass for our Anniversary. The food was fantastic from the soup, salad, appetizer to the main course. We would definitely recommend it to everyone!!!!! Loved it!!!!!🥰

First time at this restaurant. Loved it! Food was excellently prepared, prices were reasonable for a downtown location with a beautiful ambiance.

Great dining experience! Our waitress was attentive and really went out of her way for our table. We will definitely be back!

Once we finally recieved our meals, we needed to move tables to accommodate our food - I was thinking they forgot about our order b/c the people seated after us, were leaving and we were only getting our meals.

It took two hours for us to receive our food. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a more negative experience at a restaurant.

My wife and I were on a date night. We sat on the Terrace, which is awesome. Our food was excellent. The staff was very attentive. Their service was very good.

Excellent restaurant. The service started out fabulous but drifted as it got more crowded. We dined outside on the deck and it was lovely, you wouldn't have know you were in the middle of Lancaster downtown. Great food and very quaint.
