    The food was good for the price. Good portions and tasty. The restaurant could use an update in some of the furnishings but overall a cool place. The noise can get a bit loud but it is karaoke bar so just keep that mind.

    portions are small. we tried the spicy tuna bites, and those were not at all what we expected. sushi is also kinda overpriced- in terms of the specialty rolls

    Wonderful last minute late night eating! So thrilled that they still have their crème brûlée cheesecake! And the sweet potato tempura and the sweet potato tempura roll, and the shrimp tempura and shrimp tempura roll and edamame and miso soup… Exciting people watching! They had Wednesday specials that really helped!!

    The yakitori skewers were reheated, not freshly made so they were dry and not hot. They all came out quickly after ordering, maybe in 5 minutes. The salmon scallion yakitori were too salty. The food quality of this place has completely gone down hill. I saw the spot prawn on the sushi menu and was really excited to try. Unfortunately it was not as fresh as other sushi places I’ve tried.

    We had been unfamiliar with yakitori-style food and were impressed by several of these items that we ordered. Yakitori means grilled. The corn on cob, lamb and steak skewers were very tasty. We also ordered bento boxes, and these were very good also. We ended up with leftovers as our orders amounted to a substantial amount of food. All in all, we would highly recommend Yakitori Boy to anyone who enjoys Japanese cuisine, and we certainly will go back to this restaurant in Philadelphia's Chinatown.

    Food was OK, prices for drinks outrageous. Not very busy, maybe two other tables. No need for reservations. Upstairs karaoke was fun after dinner.

    It reminded me of Japan! The curry was amazing and of course all the yakitori. It seemed like a modern version of a Japanese bar you would find on the side roads in Tokyo. All the food was amazing.
