Opened in 2006, the first thing you'll experience at Wild Sage American Bistro is the rich earth tones and classic architectural details that make our bistro both relaxing and refined. Walls of windows saturate our interior space with abundant natural light during the day and provide an intimate atmosphere at night. You'll find our three dining areas allow for conversations to flow comfortably yet privately for a wonderful dining experience.
We have designed a menu that allows us to be creative on a daily basis, and work within the limits of what is in season and available. We are always looking for unique ingredients to highlight. Local beef, regional fresh fish, local gardens, heirloom vegetables fruits and tomatoes. We describe our style as “Regionally Sourced Northwest Cuisine”. It just makes sense using local ingredients at the peak of their quality and freshness.

The Wild Sage is currently open for dinner, seven nights a week. We can serve custom lunches and brunch within our dining room with advance booking for larger groups. Certain minimums must be met. Please inquire. Whether it be an office party, wedding receptions, anniversary party, or a family reunion, let the Wild Sage staff with their years of experience take the worry out of your special occasion by helping you create memories for you and your guest. Please note that The Loft area of the restaurant is located on the second floor and accessible by staircase only.

The service was exccelent, I believe his name was David not sure. Excellent! The food was amazing,and they were very greatful with our kids! Next time in Spokane we will revisit.

We were seated upstairs which was not our favorite. It was a special dinner for our daughter, but it was was very loud. It didn’t feel special like the downstairs does. The food and our server was wonderful though.

Incredible service. Outstanding vegan options. I’m not a vegan but had to try their homemade black bean tempeh. It was absolutely amazing. I have an appreciation for vegan/vegetarian options that hold up to the rest of the non veg menu. All restaurants who serve elevated food should take notes from Wild Sage on how to prepare elevated vegan food (with a real protein option, not a mushroom!!!) Had a wonderful server and enjoyed my time solo dining here.

The menu was just recently changed. the flank steak was excellent. They still had the Yukon Taquitos so I was definitely a happy girl. They still have the coconut cake, too. I love Wild Sage food and people.

I have been going to the Wild Sage for nearly 20 years now. It is without a doubt the best, most consistent restaurant in Spokane by far. I was lucky enough to come a couple of days after they updated the menu…. the Asparagus and Salmon Appetizer was absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend!

Awesome flank steak and pork tenderloin. The lemon Bundt cake excellent too. Service was also excellent. Perhaps only item to note was a tad noisy but still could carry on a conversation. Definitely recommend and will make a return visit

The food was excellent, as always. I had the special halibut and my husband had the spicy pasta. Both delicious. It was our anniversary, which I noted on the reservation. The server was friendly and nice, but seemed overly busy. After the salad and popovers, we sat for a very long time waiting for her to check on us or to bring our food. Finally she came to tell us that they've lost the ticket. So they were rushing the food through. All in all, it was not the good experience that we've had at the Wild Sage in the past.

Truly one of the best meals that I’ve ate in a long time. For appetizer we had the Yukon Taquitos and the flavor profile was amazing. My wife had the creole shrimp fettuccine to which she said was very tasty. I myself had the skirt steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and the different flavors incorporated into the plate was amazing. We each had a drink that was equally impressive. We finished with the crème brûlée and coffee. Soooo good! The service, quality of food and atmosphere will have me coming back for more. The prices are worth it for a place like this! I can’t wait to go back there.

Wild Sage is always perfect in every way! The food is creative and delicious. Highly recommend the Yukon Taquitos, Palouse Chickpea Cakes and Polenta Fries. All were delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly!! Our server Ari made the experience even more special with her sweet disposition and attentiveness. Can’t wait for our next visit to Spokane!!

Great little restaurant with wonderful food and great service… If you're rich. Two of us had two entrées and one drink apiece, with no appetizers, no salads, and no desserts. Final tally? $120 including tip. I don't know about you, but that's about twice as much as I'm comfortable spending for two plates of food and one drink apiece. But other than that, great little spot! 🫤

We flat out LOVE Wild Sage. Everything about it works for us. Their food is outstanding, their staff warm yet professional and the setting is lovely. It’s one of our “go to” places in Spokane.

As usual, after ordering, cocktails, and dinner, we eagerly waited, the delicious popovers, which is a signature for wild Sage. They did not disappoint. Our meal was absolutely superb.

Enjoyed the entire experience and our server, Brianna, was very enjoyable and attentive! We come each year for our Anniversary (and sometimes for my wife’s birthday in December) and each time is awesome! Our party of 8 (ended up 7) went to Wild Sage for dinner before we headed off to the symphony. We’ve been many times and have never been disappointed. Our server Alyssa, was extremely friendly, helpful and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you for making our evening that much more special!

We are somewhat regulars here but I felt compelled to leave a review. Our service and the way we were welcomed and treated made us feel so good about going there. Our service was great and the food was delicious. I love how the menu keeps the favorites yet also has specials. The menu has a wide variety-something for everyone. I had the halibut special and it was phenomenal. The drinks are always delicious as well.

We were looking forward to celebrating birthday dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. Service was good, food was not what we usually experience. Both meals were luke warm, overly salty and plating was not up to past meals. WS historically hits on all 8 cylinders, not last night. We will chalk it up to a one off and give them another try.

Wild, fresh halibut is in season! Chef’s preparation last night was Absolutely sublime!!! Brianna was our perfect server, attentive without being interruptive; spot on with orders, descriptions and timing! Laura remains the perfect hostess, remembering our names and making us feel so welcome! Support and kitchen staff - though less visible - were equally sublime. Of course we’ll return again … hopefully during halibut season!!

We all had the fresh sea scallops that were cooked to perfection with wonderful sides. The margaritas were top notch as were the desserts
