I dined here in a party of two early on a Friday evening. We sat outside on the patio. Our food was excellent. We started with the bread service. We then tried the shrimp cocktail, which was different than your typical shrimp and cocktail sauce. The shrimp were served in a jar mixed with pickled vegetables, along with traditional cocktail sauce and a pesto sauce. It worked. For mains we had the shrimp scampi and the trout. Both were excellent. Service was good. A very nice evening.

I had a boiled seafood special. It had a half of dungeness crab which was dry and not fresh. The clams and mussels did not seem particularly fresh either. The broth seemed like it had bee sitting in the bottom of the pot for a long time.

I went for lunch and a drink, sat at the bar. Super nice bartender made me a delicious cosmopolitan. I ordered an Avocado BLT - bread on the side. As I begin to eat, noticed there was Bacon, after a few minutes I received the bacon in a plastic container. Long story short, I got home and had the worse stomach ache ever. Couldn’t eat anything after this lunch and the next morning my stomach is still unsettled.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was really good, as were drinks. Service was top notch and ambience was perfect for a nice Saturday afternoon. We will be coming back for sure.

Disappointed in our meal at WD Wayne last night. I have always enjoyed the food at the WD and chose to go on my birthday with my whole family. Have been to WD Haverford recently and the food there was much better. My flounder was thick and salty. The scampi pasta tasted strange- not a typical scampi sauce. The apps were fair. The kids chicken fingers were thick and not fully cooked through. The short rib was good but not very hot. The waiter was excellent but will not go back to this location.

We frequent white dog a lot, by far worst experience yet. Reservation at 7:30, we were not seated until 7:55. When we arrived at our seat, there was a ton of available seating. Orders were still not taken as of 8:15. Almost 30 minutes to bring out an appetizer of cheese plate and a Caesar salad. Drinks were refilled 1 time. Somehow they were out of Diet Coke despite being a restaurant group with multiple restaurants in the area. This is not our first time that this location was out of some drinks (in December no draft beer for example). Sadly this experience took White Dog from one of our favorites to being a place we are not sure when or if we will want to go back. The price plus the credit card fee (which should be added into the menu price…) with the quality of service is not worth it until they can improve.
