The last time few times we've gone to White Dog Haverford and also White Dog Wayne we've been very disappointed in the service. While the wait staff was fairly prompt in greeting us and taking our order, once our meal had been delivered, they seemed to forget about us. In no instance did someone come to find out how we were doing, whether we needed refills, whether we wanted dessert. The last time two times we went, once at Haverford and once at Wayne we waited about 20 minutes after we had finished our meal and then had to ask another waitress to find our waitress. The food was fine although my swordfish was overcooked, but we'll think twice about going back.

Waited half hour for waiter. Short rib tough and almost inedible. I needed a steak knife! Very disappointed! Quality poor!

Typically we love our experiences at White Dog. However, this evening’s experience was lackluster to say the least. We sat for at least 20 minutes before our server even asked us about drinks, and it took 40 minutes for our bread and salads to come out. We were barely finished our starters when our entrees came out. We were served before we even had new silverware. Again after our main we had to wait quite a while for our server to bring boxes and clear our dishes. Dessert was delicious, but it took at least 10 minutes once our server had our card to come back with the check to be signed. While I understand this was a holiday and quite a busy Sunday evening, we barely even got an apology for the numerous delays. Quite a disappointing meal.

White Dog has started with hidden charges. I paid a 3% surcharge because I used my credit card. I wasn't even forewarned. It's not the amount of money that angers me, it's the principle. I rarely carry enough cash to pay this way in a moderately expensive restaurant and this is just a hidden fee. I want honest pricing. So, after dining at multiple locations of the White Dog for years, I am swearing off until these hidden charges disappear. I presume that the same hidden charges prevail at the other restaurants in the Fearless Group, so I'm swearing off those as well.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to apologize that the credit card fee was not explicitly stated during your visit. We had and have no intentions of keeping it hidden. As a company, we made the decision to show the fee as a separate line item on the receipt rather than inflate menu prices as others may do. I would also like to apologize that our server did not clarify that a payment via debit would also remove the fee. I sympathize as I often do not carry cash as well. My wife was very upset and disappointed in me for booking Mother's Day Bruch here and has vowed to never go back. There weren't a lot of people there that morning. My food was fine, but the donuts we ordered were not fresh and they were lukewarm. Then they burnt my wife and kids eggs, but they did take it off the bill and made fresh eggs for us. My daughter said she didn't like the bacon and my wife's potatoes were slightly undercooked and mushy. The waitress was very nice and professional but she seemed like she was just getting back into the business and got a lot of help from the kitchen staff, bringing out the food. The Manager and the Hostess were not friendly and the vibe was a little off, and kind of awkward, like they were a bit overwhelmed when we came in and then when we left. The manager seemed like he wanted to say something more as we were leaving but didn't, just odd for a rather expensive meal in an affluent area. Not a Mother's Day Brunch we want to remember and didn't earn me extra points with my lovely wife.

Incredibly noisy. Difficult to carry on a conversation. Multiple large groups seated in the same room, so you’re all basically shouting over each other. Service is lacking, couldn’t even get water refilled. Pretty disappointed overall.

We enjoy dining out at all of the White Dog locations. Haverford is much quieter than the Wayne location. The cocktails and food are awesome. Tried the new Swordfish special and it was delicious as was the Pork Shank. Service was fine but entrees did take some time to come out. Server was apologetic. But that is better than being rushed out as some other restaurants do. You never get a bad meal here.

Not a good meal, 2nd time food just not worth the $$ after giving another try. Prime rib was cold, no seasoning, nothing that would normally come with a prime rib and it was $55. Scallops did not taste good, parsley risotto very undercooked inedible. Wayne location has been better

Our lunch was perfect. The bartender/server, Ben, was helpful, didn’t rush us and was just all around joyful and pleasant! The food was very good and plentiful. We’ll be going back.

We went with another couple. The booth and chairs were very comfortable. The waiter greeted the table right away. We were able to hold a conversation and hear each other. The dinner was magnificent and was appealing to the eye. My husband and I both had the crème brûlée for dessert and it was the perfect ending to the perfect meal!

I brought my friends together to ask them to be in my bridal party and we had a great time. The restaurant is beautiful with details all around to look at. We had the brunch menu and I loved the BLT. Their truffle fries are fantastic. I'd go back for any occasion.

The place was adorable, and slammed. But despite running a little behind with reservations, they were accommodating and Jose, our server, was amazing. The food was unique and delicious (due to how slammed they were, a bit slow) and we will be visiting regularly when we are back in the area. Highly recommend.

White Dog Haverford is my favorite place to go!!! Their truffle fries are the best on the planet, the cocktails are delicious, the Happy Hour is fantastic, and it’s just all around fabulous!! The staff is extremely helpful and caring!

Amazing! The manager was fantastic! The food was most delicious. The prime rib special was the best I’ve ever had. Please bring that to the full time menu!

My cheeseburger came out very underdone By the time they brought it out again everyone at the table was finished. They had switched my bun and when it came out again it had mayonnaise on it which I had asked for it dry. I sent it back and had them take it off of the bill. So I had no dinner.
