Sat at the bar. Grilled octopus and hanger steak delicious and meticulously presented. Awesome bartender, great drinks. Music a bit loud but good tunes.

Everything was great. The portions leave alot to be desired. Very small portion for the price. I guess thats fine dinning.

Fantastic location especially if you do theatre same night. Unique and elaborate menu. Dumplings soup with chicken, winter squash and. Napoleon desert were my favorites.

Burrata toast and grilled octopus always good. Restaurant was out of all sparkling wine. The bar mixes a good martini with a curated selection of interesting gin. Table service is disappointing. Server disappeared for long periods. I had to get up and ask another server for refills and to order second course.

First time at Volver. Sat in the window and enjoyed people and puppy watching. The food and service were exceptional.

Classy place inside the Kimmel Center; convenient if you’re attending a concert in Marian Anderson Hall. Nice cocktail menu and wine selections. The food was very delicious with wonderful uses of spices and rich flavors. The service was attentive and overall a friendly, relaxed vibe.

GREAT FOOD! Perfect for before a show! I only wish we could've done the pre-theater meal.... you have to buy it with your tickets beforehand.

Disappointing. Beware the "pre-theater" menu. After we'd already ordered, the server told us we would be paying a la carte prices. It is only available for people who have a ticket/dinner package. The food was overpriced. The table was so wobbly I had to hold it steady while my elderly guest cut up her chicken. The server said it couldn't be fixed.

Stunning experience beginning to end. Every bite (and sip) was delectable. My wife and I enjoyed the board, octopus, hangar steak, and chicken, as well as the Portuguese red blend. Chris, our server, was engaging, professional, and helpful, and added to our wonderful evening. All FOH staff helped create a perfect dining environment. Sorry to hear that Volvér will be leaving the Kimmel Center. It is a true gem. Many thanks to all for one of the best meals we have enjoyed in many years.

My dinner(pork rib) was excellent, but my husband's entree - scallop risotto - with only two scallops, while good, was overpriced. The rolls served before dinner looked and tasted like King's Hawaiian rolls that are sold in grocery stores. Perhaps Volver ran out of bread. The dessert and espresso martini were very good.

Excellent! They didn’t attempt to compensate with larger portions. Each dish was flavorful and well thought out. Presentation was beautiful. The setting is cozy and relaxing. The staff were friendly and engaging. After a long week, it was a delight to enjoy a great conversation in this atmosphere over fantastic eats!

A pleasant meal but not anything to cheer about… Service was adequate but waiter had more customers than he could accommodate…. no other servers … Ambiance was nice…quiet & comfortable

I have been here for drinks and appetizers (great place) but this was the first time actually dining. I want to say I was amazed! I knew and expected a great experience but I just cannot believe it took me this long to have dinner. The food is delicious and the service great!

The place was nice, the food was really good. My concern is that I got steak and ribs and it was so small. The portion on the plate would not fill a grown man up which I think did not match the price as well. Aside that the food was well seasoned and good!

I always enjoy Volver, which is a handsome space - especially if you are by the window where you can enjoy the passing scene. The food is excellent and the portions are "just right." Service is also good. The only complaint I have is that during two winter visits, I was really cold inside - perhaps because the place wasn't crowded and so the room didn't heat up as expected. I would suggest that managers keep an eye on the thermostat!

If going to a performance at the Kimmel, Volver is an easy option. Open kitchen was much louder than similarly laid out restaurants. Service was on the hyper side, with lulls. The arugula salad was quite good, the roasted winter squash entree very tasty, but the cioppino was mediocre. The chocolate dessert was outstanding. Prices were a little high considering

Excellent food: the arugula salad, grilled octopus and burrata over a roasted red pepper were all innovative in presentation and delicious! We enjoyed the Branzino and risotto topped with excellent scallops and the cocktails were beautifully crafted! The bartender is attentive to customer requests. Kudos to Chef Alexandro and to GM Jenny for excellent and caring customer focus! As a longtime customer of Volver’s, this is a winning team who has mastered the art of hospitality! Thanks to all and thanks to our server, Evelyn, for a special dining experience!

The setting was lovely and quiet which allowed for relaxed conversation. While the food was generally good and well presented, the entees were incredibly small for the price, the size of a small plate. $40 for risotto with two scallops was rather surprising even in today's restaurant climate. Disappointing.

The Diver Scollop Rissoto is absolutely amazing. I literally dreamt of that meal after dining there. Truly Mouth watering. And the Boucheron Napoleon Loved it ❤️

Food was ok, portions are very small compared to similar vibe restaurants. The worst thing was the service, the restaurant wasnt very busy and it took forever to get our food out.

We ate (and love to do it) at the kitchen counter. So fun! The preparations are impressive and the staff super professional. It makes the food taste even better when it comes.

Our waiter Hector was excellent. He provided recommendations of his favorite dishes and the best selling dishes as well. The drinks were perfect, balanced. We didn’t feel rushed as in to many other restaurants. We will be recommending Volver to others and will be returning there soon

It was a fine dining experience. Food was quite good and reasonably priced. Service was also good. It was not as raucous and loud as most Philadelphia restaurants, though I believe the quality of the pre-performance diners had much to do with it.

The food and drinks were wonderful. Flavors were delicious. The mocktails were flavorful and creative. The service left a lot to be desired. Drinks were not refilled unless we flagged down and directly asked our server and they were unable to answer questions about the menu. About the only thing done promptly was giving us the check in the middle of our dinner. It certainly took away from the experience.
