We got the Spanish white anchovies, foie gras, octopus, and potato puree as appetizers; lamb and the rib as main. Everything is delicious! Will come again to try their 5-course tasting menu. Loved the ambiance and service.

All dishes for us were well prepared and seasoned but too small in portions for us and the price especially considering the small accompaniments on the main course plates. Meat and fish were perfectly cooked. Excellent wine recommendation. Uncomfortable chairs for any leisurely dining and these prices and courses require leisure. The restaurant was too warm: ceiling fans were not in use. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to get such perfect lamb. The fingerlings were not very good (undercooked, unflavored) and too little blister on the shishito peppers. $100 per person

Kenji Lopez-Alt was right, this is probably best casual fine dining experience in Seattle. We all had American Omakase, some of us also had the wine pairing, and everything was outstanding. The dishes were all creative, attractive, and delicious, with generous portions. Their wine list is well thought out, not overly expensive. We ordered champagne, and a red wine for those not having the wine pairing. And I can’t recall the last time I went to a restaurant that actually had a sabre for opening champagne by sabrage. And did it for another table! I actually ordered champagne, but I think sabrage has to be done on request, since it does involve some, horror, small loss of champagne. I would have done it had I not seen it before, and had I not ordered an expensive champagne. But, really, you gotta love a place that has the flair to do this. I especially loved the casual residential area/open garage door open air experience. Kind of reminded me of our New York dining days on the UWS. We come to Seattle a couple times a year, we’ll be back since the nice thing about Omakase, is it’s always changing. Love this place.

Great restaurant! Chef William Belickis makes it a point to introduce himself to patrons and the waiters are energetic and fun. The food is of excellent quality and the overall experience shows that they pay attention to detail. Don't miss out on this place!

One of the most memorable meals I’ve enjoyed anywhere. Violet is a cozy, welcoming environment that belies the culinary genius serving this great restaurant. We enjoyed multiple courses watching the chef work his art in the kitchen. He created the best lamb dish I’ve ever eaten. Upon remarking when noticing one of the beautiful dishes he was creating for his tasting menu, the chef brought one to the table for us to enjoy. In every aspect you can sense the love and passion that goes into this experience. My highest possible recommendations. We can’t wait to return!
