Great Mother’s Day brunch. We sat outside in 55° weather but heaters worked so well we took coats off and were pretty comfortable. They also had lots of blankets available if needed. Love the staff and casual ambience, good food and fast service specially for a busy day. Thought prices were super reasonable. We will be back for sure.

We’ve been to village vine a few times but now under new ownership it’s fantastic. The duck was cooked perfectly and the side dish was subtle and savory. Places in top duck entree ever had. The crab cake dinner came out piping hot. The crab cakes were great but even better were the potato hash and sweet corn purée that adorned the dish. Great evening and will definitely be revisiting sometime soon.

Very small place (seating for 30ish), small bar (8 seats). Most tables are very close together. However, the food is very good. Delicious pear salad with goat cheese, amazing tuna tartare, one of the best I ever had. Husband had raviolis with a lemon cream sauce. He said they were good, but would not order again. I had whole red snapper and it was delicious, but did not care for the rice and beans that came with it. Roasted veggies/potatoes would have been better. Service is very good. Had the Manhattan on the menu, which was very good, but a small measured drink. I like my manhattans filled to the top of my glass, especially when paying $15. I also had a glass of sav blanc, very good. My husband had two beers. The bill was $169 before the tip, which is higher than we expected. But, eating out seems to be crazy expensive everywhere now. We would go back again, but maybe split an entree next time. They also have some cheaper sandwiches on the menu.

The food was excellent! They need a cushion that fits the window seat, and the artwork is very cheap looking! We have terrific local artists (gallery next door which could display art to sell). Service was efficient, but not too attentive given the minimal number of table tops. But the food was terrific-scallops perfectly cooked, flatbread was divine, and the best tomato soup. Excellent tuna tartare. Terrific small plates overall and the burgers looked fantastic.

Service was not up to par. Took quite a while to get our drinks and when my wine finally arrived it was the wrong order. Prices were a bit high for food and drinks but the place was packed.

Wife and I went for a late Saturday afternoon brunch (2:15)....we knew it wouldn't be too crowded (and it wasn't) and after a full brunch we wouldn't want/need dinner......great decision! The restaurant only had 3-4 tables of people, bartender catered to us as well as the GM. The waiter was on point....he was there but not there.....Perfect! Food: I had a mushroom omelet with home fries , my wife had a sandwich. My omelet was filed with the most delicious sautéed mushrooms and gruyere cheese. The omelet itself was a tad bit overcooked, I like them tender and moist, this was a bit dry but the mushrooms more than made up for it. Overall a great Saturday experience. I'm a foodie and I would definitely recommend it. We have now been there three times and we will not hesitate to return. BTW, this week they are undergoing some internal remodeling.....check ahead for status and sawdust levels....LOL
