With Vernick Coffee Bar, James Beard award-winning Chef Greg Vernick partners with Four Seasons Hotel at Comcast Center to deliver a modern coffee bar and café as his second venture in Philadelphia. Featuring a takeaway bakery and barista counter along with a full-service 40-seat café, Vernick Coffee Bar serves up a menu of expertly prepared dishes and in-house baked goods all with the high impact, global flavor combinations Chef Vernick has become known for.
Vernick Coffee Bar is situated on the second level of the new Comcast Technology Center and overlooks the tree canopies in the building’s public lobby. Reservations are available in the full-service café for both breakfast and lunch. The takeaway area includes open seating for up to 48 guests, an excellent walk-in destination for all day dining. Vernick Coffee Bar is open Monday-Friday.

We stayed nearby and this was a go-to coffee and lunch spot. It’s on the second floor of an office building, but they provided great service and the food was top notch.

It is a great restaurant. Great food and great ambiance. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and hospitable. The food is very tasteful.

A lovely place for breakfast or lunch. Even though tables can be close the noise level does not distract. Food good but not exceptional. Service this time was unexpectedly inattentive. Once water poured our server was inattentive. We had to pull him over to order. Have been many times before and will certainly come back because of lovely space. However, lunch is not inexpensive so hope things improve in kitchen and on floor.

The ambience and staff at this coffee bar are extraordinary. I especially want to recognize Taiesha, the receptionist and greeter, for her warmth and professionalism.

Just wow! We felt like queens! It was my friend's birthday and they offered to add a candle on her dessert! Everyone there is so kind. And the food.... Mama Mia! Only one thing to do. Come back again and again...

fantastic experience in a casual environment. Prepared for a lot of work lunches. But food is fantastic. great location in city and is kid of a hidden gem. 💎 wish they had hours more of a breakfast place. Price points are high, but it is worth it. perfect you are you company expense account

THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE LADY IS INCREDIBLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL, TOLD US WE WERE LATE AND THAT WE WERE ASKING FOR TOO MUCH WHEN WE WANTED TO SWITCH TABLES. SHE TOTALLY BRINGS DOWN THE QUALITY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT. OUR WAITER WAS A GREAT GUY THOUGH

Food is always amazing and menu options are limited in a good way with perfect lunch/cafe portions. Had the salmon with Brussels and a lemon butter sauce and my friend had the fluke. Simply outstanding on both! And our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive without being overly involved; he also was very accommodating on swapping out the veg for my friend, not a moment’s hesitation. Topped off with a cappuccino to go, which is also always top notch. If you’re looking for a casual but upgraded delicious lunch with excellent service this is it. You do have to handle a slightly louder environment but it is well worth it!

I love this restaurant. The menu is just right and the food is delicious. I also love the environment - a perfect combination of corporate chic, the old architecture of the church across the street and the soft nature of trees.

Perfect lunch spot. The choices are limited, but the 3 of us each ordered something different and loved them all. Coffee drinks are a little small, but delicious. I will return to enjoy the great food, helpful, efficient staff and awesome food.

Great lunch spot. Love the ambiance. Would've liked a refill on my coffee for a 70.00 lunch of 2 salads and 2 coffees. But minor thing. Great power breakfast or lunch place.

My friend and I had lunch in the restaurant part of the coffee bar. The food was delicious and the service was great. It has a nice ambience and it was quiet and pleasant to converse with my friend. I would definitely come back and would recommend Vernick Coffee Bar to my friends.

Love, love the quiet beauty of food and place. This time it took a bit long though for our orders to arrive. More than 30 minutes. Hoping that was just a one time occurrence as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal after it arrived although one chicken order was lukewarm. Too late to complain. Overall still a wonderful experience.

Excellent atmosphere and service. A very pleasant experience. Terrific staff. An unusual menu. I look forward to returning. It is a very exciting lunch venue. I wish they were open for breakfast as well like they used to be. My guest also greatly enjoyed our lunch.

Vernick Coffee was in a beautiful setting. The high ceiling, the comfortable chairs, everything made it a perfect place for lunch. The food was wonderful! The only criticism I have is that the portions were small for the prices. I will definitely return though.

Always a great retreat for a business (or personal) lunch. The setting of the Comcast Tech Center atrium combined with creative light food makes this a regular stop for me.

Great wine tasting. Michelle is very knowledgeable and wines were really nice. Having Chef there was a good opportunity to get to know/understand the pairings. Would definitely be back!

I never write reviews. But the hostess at lunch at this restaurant was excellent. Very personable and very sweet, as well as attentive. Great experience and will go back again!
