Trattoria Valona is a family owned and operated BYO Italian restaurant located at the Victorian Village Shops within the Horsham Willow Grove area of Hatboro. We offer a comforting dining experience by using the freshest ingredients daily to provide our guests with the classics of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine along with a modern take on our daily chef specials. We haven't been here for awhile, and we are glad that we returned! The food was excellent! We ordered from their specials for the day. We had the strawberry spinach salad and the salmon and shrimp entree.We shared the carrot cheesecake for dessert! We enjoyed all of it! The waitress said it was only her 3rd day. And she did a great job ! It was somewhat noisy, but we were seated next to a table of 6 people. The place is small so the tables are a bit close. We will definitely return again!

The service was a little slow. This is NOT the usual Italian restaurant. They have very special appetizer plates and entrees, in addition to the usual dishes. The food is delicious and the servers very friendly. I consider this a good place to go when I want something special and would show it off when friends are visiting. The only thing I would suggest is including the price of the daily specials when the server lists them.

Yet another pleasant meal Trattoria Valona. Everything here is good, but not great. That said, this place delivers consistency and a fine dining experience in a neighborhood setting. Always hoping for food quality and creativity that reaches the OMG level. Not here….but happy to go back over and again.

Would probably give the food 3 1/2 stars if I could. I had the salmon special which cost $45. Good but Way too pricey. Wouldn’t have gotten it had I known the price. Server should give the price of each special. I judge Italian restaurants by the bread they serve and their’s was average at best.

Thank you for your review and appreciate your feedback! All the food is priced based on the cost and the food cost has increased dramatically. Server should be able to tell you the price when asked. I wonder if you were able to ask the server before you ordered the plate. All the food is priced based on the cost.

The meal was delicious as usual. Service is always good. We did not feel as rushed to finish our meal as we have on some other occasions because they needed the table. So that was a plus also. It is one of our favorite restaurants for food and service!

Loved the family business experience. The waitress was the daughter who was taking a gap year after just finishing up at Temple. Such a wonderful conversationalist. Food was delicious and you could taste the love.

This is a nearby restaurant that had reservations for Easter Sunday. The prices are a little high but the food quality is great. I try to support the restaurant when I can. Would have liked a more seasonal menu for specials, maybe lamb.

Great food and superb service. Server (Victoria) was exceptional and made our wedding anniversary dinner special. Ended up staying until close and had beautiful conversation with Victoria and owner, wasn’t rushed out at all. Ordered the Arancini, Valona Signature salad, Gnocchi Pomodoro Mozz, and lamp chops. 5 layer cake was incredible, tasty and light. Everything was delish! Have seen a few negative reviews but highly recommend you put those aside and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Always an excellent experience. Our server, Livia, always goes out of her way to please. We ordered the special appetizer and when she asked about it, we said it was a bit chewy. She was so apologetic and dessert was "on the house". We will definitely be back and bring our friends!

We had a wonderful experience at Trattoria Valona! Our first time there. The server (Ori) as well as the food was excellent. The menu and specials were very appealing with my wife and I opting for two of the specials … which were delicious. Excellent dining experience. Food, service and warmth of welcome were all really good. This is our fourth visit to Valona, and they have consistently very good. Great neighborhood find!

The service and food are always exceptional. Our group enjoyed filet mignon, grouper, and lobster seafood special. All were cooked perfectly, and were delectable.
