Trattoria Valona is a family owned and operated BYO Italian restaurant located at the Victorian Village Shops within the Horsham Willow Grove area of Hatboro. We offer a comforting dining experience by using the freshest ingredients daily to provide our guests with the classics of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine along with a modern take on our daily chef specials. Authentic dishes, quaint dining room, open kitchen, and great service, we strive for our guests to feel right at home when dining with us. Benvenuti from Ilir and Lu!

The service was a little slow. This is NOT the usual Italian restaurant. They have very special appetizer plates and entrees, in addition to the usual dishes. The food is delicious and the servers very friendly. I consider this a good place to go when I want something special and would show it off when friends are visiting. The only thing I would suggest is including the price of the daily specials when the server lists them.

Yet another pleasant meal Trattoria Valona. Everything here is good, but not great. That said, this place delivers consistency and a fine dining experience in a neighborhood setting. Always hoping for food quality and creativity that reaches the OMG level. Not here….but happy to go back over and again.

Would probably give the food 3 1/2 stars if I could. I had the salmon special which cost $45. Good but Way too pricey. Wouldn’t have gotten it had I known the price. Server should give the price of each special. I judge Italian restaurants by the bread they serve and their’s was average at best.

Thank you for your review and appreciate your feedback! All the food is priced based on the cost and the food cost has increased dramatically. Server should be able to tell you the price when asked. I wonder if you were able to ask the server before you ordered the plate. All the food is priced based on the cost.

Super fresh ingredients in every dish and excellent service. The owner is onsite and always makes sure the customers have the best experience possible.

The meal was delicious as usual. Service is always good. We did not feel as rushed to finish our meal as we have on some other occasions because they needed the table. So that was a plus also. It is one of our favorite restaurants for food and service!
