Trattoria Carina is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant from the same family as Pub & Kitchen, focused on providing delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere at a great value. Located on the corner of 22nd and Spruce, it’s a charming and easygoing 32-seat trattoria, whose name means “Little Darling” in Italian. The menu changes seasonally, but always features a variety of homemade pastas and classic Italian dishes made up of the freshest ingredients. Trattoria Carina has a small bar program, featuring Italian wines by the glass, seasonal beer options, and a selection of cocktails including Negronis and Aperol spritzes. Should guests choose to BYO, there is no corkage fee. Trattoria Carina is open seven days a week for dinner starting at 4:30 PM.

    Wonderful experience at carina! It was my boyfriend’s birthday and they accommodated the surprise dessert I dropped off! The tagliatelle, gemelli and spicy crab were 10/10s

    Delicious food and very attentive wait staff. Wish prices were a little more affordable, but large portions.

    The food is amazing. Never had a bad meal. Parking to be desired but that’s not the restaurant’s fault

    Food and service were excellent. My wife and I ate outside so noise wasn't an issue. The inside dining area is relatively small and can get a bit noisy but you might view that as part of the overall joyful experience.

    A good dinner great service. Pasta was good not great our appetizers were very good. The people watching factor eating outside was very fun and lastly our waitress was super wonderful. If given the opportunity we might try it again

    Beautiful day to sit outside. Server was lovely & attentive. Brought ceasar out with tongs and plates to share. Pasta was all perfectly cooked- Can’t wait to go back.

    My wife, mom, and I had a lovely time at Trattoria Carina for dinner. I had gotten us outdoor reservations because the weather had been so nice but of course it started drizzling right when we were there. Thankfully it didn't last too long and all the servers and staff were so great about making sure there were more umbrellas set up and helping to move tables so no one got rained on. If the weather is nice I really recommend sitting outside -- it wasn't too loud, the street is quiet, and it felt really decadent. The food was so good -- we split the burrata, the artichoke dip, and the gemelli pasta and it was the perfect amount of food and so summery. And then for dessert we had the chocolate mousse which was extremely tasty and also very light. I had the Pecorino white wine and my mom had the Gavi and we both enjoyed them very much. I picked this restaurant because my wife is a vegetarian and I was really impressed by how many vegetarian options they had. Absolutely planning on coming back -- they have a brunch menu as well that I'd love to try.
