Trattoria Carina is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant from the same family as Pub & Kitchen, focused on providing delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere at a great value. Located on the corner of 22nd and Spruce, it’s a charming and easygoing 32-seat trattoria, whose name means “Little Darling” in Italian. The menu changes seasonally, but always features a variety of homemade pastas and classic Italian dishes made up of the freshest ingredients. Trattoria Carina has a small bar program, featuring Italian wines by the glass, seasonal beer options, and a selection of cocktails including Negronis and Aperol spritzes. Should guests choose to BYO, there is no corkage fee. Trattoria Carina is open seven days a week for dinner starting at 4:30 PM.

    It was wonderful to sit outside and have an umbrella for shade. The service was very good — we got plenty of attention at an outdoor table. Nice drink list — good quality and well priced. The bread they served to start was delicious.

    Very pleasant evening. Bunch of favs for us - chopped salad, octopus, cacio e pepe, rigatoni. Great night to dine outside.

    Excellent restaurant service was great. Food was very good. Our meatball appetizer came out cold and but our server replaced it with new hot ones which were delish

    Everyone there is great. Food is good, wasn’t amazing this time. Entree got put down and immediately spotted a hair in the food. Waitress took it away as quickly as I found it and brought out a fresh entree. Was surprised they didn’t comp it, tho.

    We took our daughter there to celebrate her graduation from Upenn, and it was the perfect place. It was so nice to be able to bring a bottle of champagne for a toast! All of our dishes were delicious, we lucked out with lovely weather so our table outside was just right. The service was friendly and efficient, but we were not rushed. All in all, an excellent experience and we'll definitely return.

    Amazing! We got the Caesar salad, gemelli pasta and the bolognese. All dishes tasted amazing and our server was great. Highly recommend!
