The staff was cold and blatantly annoyed with us that we needed seating for 10, which was the reservation we made weeks in advance. The restaurant was not prepared for our 10 top when we arrived. They also were not busy. Not even half full. No other diners inside. We had 8 adults, a toddler, and a baby. They initially gave us an 8 top and suggested we put the kids on the end which obstructed the service walkway… We had to help rearrange the tables ourselves. It was Mother’s Day and we overall did not feel welcomed. Plus the halibut dish was terribly prepared. Bland, very small portion, and on a bed of what seemed to be half cooked lentils. I’ve been to White Swan before and loved it. This time was very disappointing.

We've been here before but in the winter. I'd wanted to come back in nice weather and we couldn't have picked a better day. We waited quite awhile for service but once I asked if the server at the other table was our waiter and he was. Darrin I think? Anyway super nice and really helpful. Drinks were good. We had the roasted vegetables for an appetizer and were great -sort of a deconstructed salad and really enjoyed it. I had the orecchiette with stinging nettle pesto and prawns and it was good. A little less pesto would have been nice and for the love of god, please take the shells off the tails of the shrimp! It was disgusting to have green hands after doing it myself. My date had the seafood stew and liked it but wished it had a little more heat and flavor. Had the pound cake with banana curd and it was meh. Really no flavor at all and really dry. But it's a fun place and lots of great people and boat watching. Will be back!

Service was friendly but not prompt or attentive even though the restaurant was not overly busy. I ordered a surf and turf special that was flavorful but definitely needed a good steak knife. The meal was advertised with a buttered Parker House roll. The roll was stale and not very flavorful and I had to ask for the butter midway through the meal.

White Swan is great with a group and has fancy-ish seafood focused pub food. Most of the food was good, the oysters were just ok (shucked so that the brine had spilled out, some shells). The sunny patio is especially nice here.

Great outdoor patio space with plenty of heaters. Food is always good, but wish they would offer a few more breakfast items on the brunch menu. Great service

White Swan Public house graciously accommodated my birthday dinner and were so wonderful. I say graciously because more people than the reservation was for ended up coming. The service was fantastic, they were so kind and attentive. Thank you for also taking the photos for us! This was the first birthday without my Dad, I really appreciated everything! The food and cocktails/mocktails were 10/10- get the crab hush puppies!

Except for the inedible Crab Hushpuppies (with no crab taste), the food was good. Large Sprig Salad with lots of blue cheese. Good halibut Fishwich and fries. Nice Pinot noir and decent beer selection. We had great service on a busy friday evening.
