Amazing evening at this restaurant. Stephen our waiter was brilliant. The fact that all the waiters are trained opera singers is nothing short of fabulous… the singers take turns every 20-30 minutes and it creates the most wonderful experience and atmosphere.. these singers are top level opera singers and before each song, they explain the story behind it… the food… fresh, hot and DELICIOUS! I had the mushroom ravioli and the sauce was outrageously good, my husband had the veal and it was not only tasty… but enormous!… all in all a lovely evening, great food, great place… if you’re ever undecided on where to eat in Philly… TRY IT!

This place is great and we were that group that had children along. They were amazing at accommodating us! Will be back!

The special soup of the day was a Watermelon Gazpacho which was excellently prepared. Just a hint of watermelon and also had a small kick, but kept the flavor profile of a true gazpacho. My wife throughly enjoyed the "Prince Igor" - at one point telling me "it was too good to not finish." I had the pork chop, which was delicious - although I really wish I had thought to get the mashed potatoes on the side; they got a bit too soggy sitting in the sauce that's served with the pork. The espresso was delicous and the TIRAMISU was to die for!!!! Our server, Ryan, was particularly delightful and sang beautifully.

Great find in South Philly where some of Rocky scenes were filmed! Classic Italian with the servers singing Opera every 15 minutes. Food was delicious and service was professional and crisp

A very unassuming location as you're walking up, to the point where I wasn't sure if it was the right address, but once you enter you realize you're in the right place. Very busy and energetic--in a good/happy way. We are a taller couple and the hostess purposely seated us in a place that wasn't their small-ish booths which we appreciated. The service was great and as you'd expect for any good restaurant but special here because of the live opera performances every 20-30 minutes by any one of the floor staff. The food was delicious. If I had anything to gripe about: my pasta dish (Linguine Fra Diavolo) arrived to me extremely hot, could-not-touch-the-sauce hot, so I had to wait a little while for it to cool, but not a big deal; but I do wish I had more bread to mop it up at the end! I would definitely return.
