I always enjoy going to Victor's Cafe. Very good food. great service and the singers are simply fantastic.

We were looking forward to dining at Victor's Cafe for a long time. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Server was nice but not very personable. How can you serve bread like that? It was not Italian. It was more of a white bread. The olive oil basil dip was the star of the night. The clams casino where ok, nothing to write home about. My wife ordered a salmon filet on farro. The farro was ice cold, and the salmon was warm at best and very dry. She could not eat it. I ordered crab filled ravioli in a safron champagne sauce. Not the case, there was no sign of saffron and no taste of champagne. The whole dish tasted like an Alfredo sauce. We did not stay for dessert because we did not want to take the chance of another disappointing course. It's unfortunate that an iconic restaurant has dropped the ball.

As always, dinner at the Victor Cafe was wonderful from start to finish. Collin was a very efficient and friendly server. My pork chop was enormous and perfectly cooked, with a delicious sauce. My husband said his seafood ravioli were fantastic. (I couldn't try them, as I'm allergic.) My only complaint is that the menu has become quite seafood-oriented, along with mushrooms (also allergic to), lately. It was difficult to find anything other than the pork chop for me to have as my entree, although I could have had steak. The professional-quality operatic singing always adds to the atmosphere and fun of dining here. It is one of our favorite restaurants. And a big thank-you for remembering my husband's 73rd birthday.

A wonderful evening. The food and service were excellent. The restaurant has fantastic history and the performances by the waitstaff were very entertaining.

We always go the Victor Cafe when in Philadelphia for the music as well as the food. We were disappointed in the lack of performances this past Friday night. Also, I indicated that we were celebrating a birthday and there was no mention of that. Finally, the ravioli special was certainly not up to par with our previous meals.

Experience an authentic Italian menu with tried and true recipes that warm the heart, soul and tummy. The specials are akways hood, too. Enjoy the talented operatic waitstaff who choose their arias to perform every 20 minutes. Check out the museum-like displays on walls, ceilings and shelves on each level. The staff is delightfully pleasant and efficient.

Delicious food and amazingly talented wait staff. Live Opera performance in a restaurant by those that are serving was a unique experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

Outstanding! Food is great and the Opera singers are even better! Adina - our Soprano Waitress - is super nice and has a voice that made us shiver up our spines!

I have been coming to The Victor Cafe periodically for over 30 years, and I'm always impressed by the quality of the food, the hospitality of the staff, and the incredible voices of the singers. I will continue to bring first-timers there whenever I have the opportunity; it's a fabulous Philly Thing!
