The Morris is a new restaurant and bar in a truly unique location. It’s connected to a boutique, 17 room colonial hotel and courtyard located right next to Washington Square Park. We have a scratch kitchen that only uses the freshest ingredients available by season. Our bar program consists of delicious hand-crafted cocktails, organic wines, selection of local beers, and spirit-free beverages. Whether it's for a casual night out, business dinner, or date night, we are so excited to serve you in our newly renovate dining room or in the garden courtyard!

Beautiful outside seating and without question the friendliest most caring restaurant staff I’ve ever experienced in my 70 years. The food was uniformly excellent with some interesting dishes I’ve never seen on a menu before such as the fabulous mushroom pot pie. Excellent drink menu also with some winning original takes on classic cocktails. Lastly the strawberry rhubarb crème brûlée was delicious. The Morris is clearly one of the best restaurants and dining experiences in Philadelphia.

Food was very delicious. Get the stuffed chicken, the butternut squash and garlic mashed puree was such a delicious flavor.

Hopefully you get Catie as your server. She was sweet and attentive. Happy hour specials were really generous. The Manhattan was the best I've ever had and food was so good. Take the trip

Returning customers ! We had such an amazing time we returned.. my birthday. A champagne toast as we sat down!! What 💜.. Everyone goes out of their way to make the dining experience fantastic.. Food SO delicious… drinks…creative and hard to choose a favorite..servers , always there for any and everything you need !! Lastly Chris the manager . You can tell why things work there .. it’s because of him … He stopped again at our table like times before .. So welcoming . I can go on . But you get the idea . Perfect nite 🥂

We went for brunch. The service was attentive and nice. The food was amazing, the drinks were very good. The outside area is covered and it’s very nice seating.

Nice outdoor seating in courtyard. Cozy bar indoors. Attentive service. Stuffed chicken breast was quite good. Interesting salads. Burgers looked good but haven't tried yet.

The menu needs a boost. Choices are very limited and as a regular (I live at the St. James across the St.), I would welcome some weekly or monthly specials just to change things up. The burger, which is now 2 four-ounce patties, I found it impossible to take a bite out of it. Much too big. I would've rather had one rare 6 oz. burger and call it a day! Fries were great as always and so was the charred broccoli. My husband ordered the steak with the sauce on the side, luckily. Sauce was supposed to be a red wine reduction but tasted like salt and grease. Steak itself was fine once he got some Worcestershire sauce. Service was good and staff was warm as always. Atmosphere always inviting and very pleasant. A beautiful outdoor spot.

Really nice vibe. Limited menu in a good way where you know its all gonna be good. Service was thoughtful.
