We booked few weeks in advance for my son graduation celebration lunch after seeing restaurant’s good ratings. We arrived 1 o’clock (15 min early) however as it was busy on 1st floor they kept us waited until 1:20. And then we were offered a table on upstairs. 2nd floor was quite and actually many tables were available. I am not sure why we kept waited 20 minutes. Our waiter was very kind and nice; however as he was the only one on 2nd floor it took 20 minutes to get our order. So it was about 1:45pm. When I expressed my disappointment to restaurant manager, he offered our starters free; Which was kind offer. And service became expedite. The restaurant managers and our waiter put a lot of effort for us to leave as happy customers. But I wish we had a table on first floor and better welcoming and service before complaining.

I really enjoyed my lunch at The Love. The food was tasty as was the drink. My server made great recommendations and was appropriately attentive. The Love is on the pricier end of restaurants but prices are on par for the Rittenhouse area.

I went as a single person and sat at a table and they made the experience unforgettable. I didn’t feel awkward sitting alone at all. The food was top-notch and the dessert even better.

Lovely Mother’s Day dinner! It was crowded, entrees took some time to come out but we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

Was happy they offered reservation service. We were seated immediately. Noise level is high. Food was nicely presented and delicious. Food servicer could have been more attentive.

Amazing experience as always! Front-of-house staff was friendly, proactive, and deeply knowledgable about the menu (especially the food runners, which is not typical for all restaurants so was a great surprise here!). I always get something from their seasonal menu here, and their Mac & Cheese with Ramps was great (I will say that their ramps dish from last year was even better).

Wonderful location for lunch! I had never dined on the 2nd Floor - we had a lovely little table tucked into a corner away from traffic. (Risotto was fabulous!,)

This was my 3rd time here, I love it each time. Customer service is always amazing, I didn’t know they had a second floor & it was just as beautiful as the downstairs area.

My husband and I chose The Love to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary, it was everything we hoped for and more! The between the food, drinks and service it was all impeccable! Anyone that I talk to that’s looking for a place to eat at in Philly I will definitely be telling them about The Love. Ken our waiter was attentive and kind.

Just incredible. Amazing food like a symphony in my mouth. Had the cacio e pepe and the carrot cake. Service was the best in memory. Thank you for a wonderful night!

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and love it. We ate upstairs tonight for the first time. It was much more quiet than downstairs. Service and food are always excellent.

Fun brunch experience. Great place for a special occasion. We had my daughter’s birthday brunch and it was sweet. Our meal was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed everything.

Best brunch I have had so far in Philly! espresso martini, grits, blueberry scones with lemon curd and the siracha bacon candy was all amazing. I never take anything home with me, and I took everything I didn't finish all of. Service was amazing and I can't wait to come back.

Make a reservation! It was so busy. My husband enjoyed his pork chop meal. The chop was tasty and not dry. The mashed potatoes were creamy. We had the orange crème brulee and it was delicious.

My guests’s food was a little salty and had to be sent back for another dish, which was a real shame because I had talked up the food so much having visited multiple times before without any issues of the sort, but the restaurant was so good about replacing it with something else. Will inevitably be back, just felt like an off night this time.

Enjoyed our brunch. Got shrimp and grits and porcini ravioli was very delicious. Good amount of Shrimps were included. Drinks were pretty good except not enough alcohol but tasted good. Would come back from brunch.

The brunch food was really good but very large portions, so I suggest sharing. It was very noisy / I think some additional soft surfaces would be a HUGE benefit. We also felt rushed. Our server and two managers asked how we were doing 5 times other than ordering food and it felt like they were mostly coming by to see how far we were along. 3/5

Incredible brunch. My wife and I started our Anniversary in great style. This exceeded expectations from the moment we arrived. We loved everything. Our server gave us great suggestions. HIGHLY recommend!

Beautiful and comfortably appointed rooms. A call-back to attentive, quality service (silverware replaced after appetizer, crumbs cleared). Amazing freshly-made parker house rolls. Fried chicken (thick boneless breasts) with grits was delicious and very filling. Wife had beet salad, which was mostly beets (unusual) and a lovely cheese plate with plenty of bread. Not cheap, but well worth it.
