The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    Love the Log Cabin. Waiter personable and willing to get answers to our questions. Don't know why we asked several times what was taking so long to get shrimp cocktail served..it was served after the hot appetizers had already been served to other guests at the table. All 4 entrees/one small plate excellent and served hot at same time. Enjoyed the desserts. Raspberry sorbet excellent. Guest really enjoyed her sticky pudding. We will be back.

    Everything about the experience was great. From the food to the service and attention to detail, outstanding. There was a large party next to us celebrating a birthday and initially it was a bit noisy but that was short lived. Highly recommend!

    From time you step foot in the door till you leave it is a lovely experience. The hostess was very friendly. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was perfect, flavor in every bite. The dessert was excellent. Will recommend to everyone to go to the Log Cabin. Wish I could give higher than a 5 star rating

    Log cabin delivered on a great dining experience. A lovely meal shared between a business colleague and our wives.

    Greeted by a young teenager with the question, "do you have a reservation?" Never offered a welcome. we were early for reservation to get a cocktail at the bar. This youngster showed us to a table. In 15 minutes we were never asked for a drink order and then the youngster returned to tell us the table he placed at was reserved. Every other table was empty in the bar!! Left in the lobby we finally needed to ask where we could sit, get a drink and wait for our table instead of standing. Bizarre is the single most accurate word to describe the experience. Wait staff was very nice and food was delicious. Not sure why people go here with enough other solid experiences at this price point.

    Second visit in less than 2 months. Food outstanding in both visits. Drinks delicious. Service on both visits was average. Servers knowledgeable but very inattentive. At this price point, service should be better. Dinner took 2 1/2 hours from seating to paying. Major plus side: entertainment was stellar. Trio was piano, bass and drum. We were seated just the other side of lounge and wasn’t too loud.

    We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary at the Log Cabin, we were seated promptly at our reservation time the table was set up with flowers in a small vase and a card wishing us happy anniversary. Our waitress Christene greeted us and took our cocktail order,our food orders came at at a nice pace, waiting for each course to be finished before the next was brought out. I hate it when you are still eating you soup and your main course comes out. Christene was amazing and very attentive to our needs. My steak was cooked just the way I liked it, very very rare! My compliments to the chef also. It was a pleasure to dine at the Log Cabin a most memorable anniversary dinner!

    Our dining experience on their lovely patio was truly outstanding due to Tina’s excellent service and our delicious meals. An added bonus was the vase of flowers that graced our table and later became an anniversary gift to take with us.
