A high-energy cocktail lounge amidst the Lancaster sky, The Exchange redefines your view of this historic yet Hip City. We are a 21+ establishment after 4pm. You must present a valid physical ID at the door.

Sip from an extensive craft cocktail menu complemented by thoughtful wine & local beer selection; savor a menu of inventive small plates by Chef Ryan McQuillan; and socialize at the The Exchange: Your favorite gathering place.

RESERVATIONS: Reservations are encouraged during peak times and weekends. Walk-ins are welcomed on a first come, first serve basis. If you're looking to make a reservation, please find us on OpenTable, or call during business hours.

This was our first time and we chose to sit outside by the fire. The chairs were not the best but the service was quick and very polite, the food was very good and even though it was cloudy, the view was good and very pretty after it was dark.

It was ok, been a couple times before. Food was not that great. Obviously, it’s on the higher end of pricing which we knew but the quality was not there. Service was mediocre at best.

A few buddies from work and I came to Lancaster after work last Friday to experience The Exchange, and we were pleasantly *thrilled* about how much fun we had and how good the service was. Our server, Jozlyn, was very helpful with the menu and really created an excellent experience for us. Can't wait to be back!

We came for dinner but arrived to early & because we had a reservation we were only allowed to stay for an hour. Bloody Mary tasted like spicy cucumber, the drink Spring awakening was good but I think they forgot to add alcohol to it. I'm a light weight & usually 1 drink is enough for me but this did nothing. Crab toast was burnt to a crisp & cold while being bland. Fries were spicy but also bland. Waitress was nice but we didn't see her much. We would usually spend $350+ when we ate here in the past, but in the last year it's been going down hill (in food & service) & it makes me sad, I use to love this place & always tried to bring big groups here.

Very cool space. Great view. We enjoyed the food but tables are small. It more of a lounge than a dinner spot unless you have less than 5 people. The outside area is cool. Great bar.

The Exchange is beautiful, hands down. I definitely felt there could have been more food items, but was overall pleased that my vegetarian husband had so my options. I would definitely revisit

Heaven was a wonderful server!! She recommended the Brussel sprouts, and they were AMAZING!! This is my second time having the Cesar pizza... So GOOD! The Margherita pizza was a little soggy, but the flavor was still good. Love it here!!

The restaurant was extremely cold to the point of being unpleasant. The food was very good and the service was pretty good, however, when we made a simple menu request that could not be fulfilled, the server’s attitude was arrogant and rude, instead of being friendly and just explaining why they couldn’t honor our request. The general tone of the place is as if they are doing a favor to by allowing you in the restaurant.

We had a girls, day that started off with brunch here. The ambiance made us feel fancy but not out of place, comfy seating, long cocktail menu and delicious food for a reasonable cost. The view is unmatched too. We want to come back when the patio is open for the summer!

Came here for a date night and enjoyed the experience! The margarita pizza was good and drinks were pretty good. Service was a little slow. When we arrived the hostess desk was empty and we waited for someone to come for a while. The ambiance and view was breathtaking, felt like a high end nyc restaurant! Overall, 8/10

Not enough options. And ran out of the item we ordered. Prim rib sliders. Pizza was very salty, crab tacos tasted like tuna not crab at all

I was expecting quality food, while some of the food tasted good, none of it was amazing and a lot of it was very mid. My expectations were too high, but with the vibe they put off I don’t think I’m solely to blame.

When I first found this restaurant researching ideas for a date night I thought 'That looks interesting!' and kept that in my places to go box Valentine's Day came up and I was like that's a great place to go! The atmosphere was good and the service was excellent - I highly recommend this place to anyone and would consider returning!

I don’t think the place is geared towards me as a customer. The primary reason to visit is the ambiance and alcohol but I don’t celebrate stuff often enough to meet people to drink a ton, snack, and socialize. It’s not really great for couples but would be nice to meet and catch up with an old friend or to discuss business. It’s a cool spot but the menu is odd and I don’t get the impression it’s meant to be filling/ an actual meal. I completely understand the concept now but I can’t see myself really going back. I like drinking but I feel like the whole purpose of the place is to impress your friends/ have ambiance and drink a whole lot. There’s no shortage of places to get drunk in Lancaster. I feel like the food/ menu is what really makes a restaurant and this isn’t a restaurant. It’s a bar that happens to have food.

We enjoyed an early Valentine’s dinner. Wine, shared appetizers and dessert for our special evening were excellent. Service was excellent. We love The Exchange!

Place has a nice atmosphere, but place only sells appetizers, that are very expensive and not really much to “share” or “exchange” The place wasn’t that busy, and we only got 1 round of drinks because our waiter disappeared. We got the wrong appetizers. For a group of friends, great place to go. As a couple for date night NO.

The bar at the exchange was perfect for an impromptu lunch date. On this blustery day the spiked hot apple cider was a perfect choice.

We LOVED The Exchange! We came on a Tuesday night, so it was definitely not as packed as I imagine it is on a weekend, but the vibes are so cool and fun, and the food is AMAZING. I will be dreaming about the brussel sprouts until I can have them again. Definitely recommend for a fun night!

Very nice atmosphere. Pricey but we knew that going in. Would go back again. We got expresso martinis and old fashioned’s to drink and the brussel sprouts (very good), pork sliders (small-not worth the price) and a sausage pizza (very good) to eat.

I’ve been here several times, but this was a very disappointing visit. The food was cold, the light from the kitchen was very off-putting, and it was quite cold in the restaurant itself. I will think twice before bringing friends here again.
