Excellent drinks from the bar. The food was also excellent. Had the Shepards Pie, Green Green Salad and Chicken schnitzel. Everything was fresh, unique and delicious. We will be back.

This is a funky place that has British pub vibes in an older building with period furniture. All the dishes we tried were tasty and very well prepared. Amazing Pims cocktail, in a place that prides itself on its cocktails but also serves British beer.

Had a great time meeting friends for dinner before a show. Heard amazing things about the fish and chips and they did not disappoint. The Cottage Pie was amazing too. The Pimms Cup was everything I hoped it would be. Hope to come back soon....they just need dessert!

We are regulars there. Only problem is that menu is a bit small. Still a good drink and oysters with fish and chips adding marinated tomato salad all good.

First time here. Fish & Chips and a burger. Food was good. I would return to try some of the other entrées.

One of our newer favorite spots, the Black Squirrel is a gem. However, last night a couple things were a little bit off. We ordered the cheeseboard to enjoy as an appetizer. Our entrees came before the cheese board — did not get the chance to deep dive into the different cheeses and enjoy it and conversation and our drinks. My drink (margarita) while delicious was packed with ice so much so that I really had to use the straw or else have ice cubes push up against my lip —it was difficult to drink. Having over abundance of ice gave the impression of being ripped off. This was house tequila, nothing extravagant. I still give this great pub 4+ stars and hope that last night was the aberration, not the new norm. All of our entrees were delicious and we do plan on returning. Addendum: I had not realized it but the waitress comped the cheese board due to its late arrival. I apologize for not knowing this at the time of my initial review (!)
