Terrain’s greenhouse cafe offers seasonally inspired brunch and dinner menus, alongside a thoughtfully curated beverage program. Our dedicated culinary team works closely with purveyors to ethically source fresh, high-quality ingredients that lay the foundation for our nourishing dishes. Each cafe's unique and deliberately designed environment blurs the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing an inspiring dining experience every time. Our Doylestown cafe is our most recent addition, situated on the campus of Delaware Valley University. Terrain's culinary team works directly with the farmers, agricultural teams, and students of DelVal to deliver their produce straight to cafe tables. This location includes a private dining room and a centrally-located bar area featuring small bites, seasonal cocktails, and a robust yet approachable wine list.

Worst experience ever! I expected a lot from the place since it looks very nice online but very disappointing. When we got there, hostesses are not very friendly. Server is not even paying attention. While I am ordering, she’s looking elsewhere instead of focusing on me. VERY RUDE! I ordered the short rib and egg and I specifically told her I want my poached eggs well done but ended up poached soft. The food is served cold and my husband’s medium burger ended up welldone and it looks very dry. He ordered a side of fries and even the fries are served cold. We didn’t have a chance to complain because the server is nowhere to be found and we’re very hungry. My daughter’s $7 kids french toast was served with just 1 pc of toast drizzled with syrup and it even didn’t come with some berries on the side and on top of that, SERVED COLD! Was being charged for $3 apple juice where most places kids meal comes with free drinks. Way overcharged and ended up with a VERY BAD SERVICE. It was our first time but we will definitely not gonna come back. I wouldn’t recommend this place!

Our server Luci was so amazing and super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The hostesses gave us a warm welcome when we entered and the manager Shannara was very accommodating with having an extra guest join us last minute. The cheeseboard presentation was top notch! Can’t wait to come back!!!

Terrain is a great addition to the Doylestown area. It’s a beautiful space, with a great bar. The design alone is worth the meal!

The ambience was spectacular. The servers were professional and knowledgeable. We ordered four appetizers, cocktails and desserts en lieu of an entree. While the presentation was beautiful, the appetizers and cocktails were good, but not spectacular. We did love the desserts though. The ice cream sandwich was absolutely delicious. I’m still looking forward to going back to try the entrees.

Nice setting but disappointing food. Nothing was bad, just not that great, especially for the prices. This place could be really nice if they'd step up their game on the food

The food was delicious as were the drinks. The waitstaff was friendly and personable. There could have been more time between courses. The food came very quickly. The soup arrived before we could cut the bread. We hadn’t even got halfway through the soup before our entree came. However, I would highly recommend dining and shopping at Terrain.

I was a bit hesitant to celebrate our anniversary dinner at Terrain as it seemed like a venue which relies more on the ambiance than it does on the food. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food we had. We started with the hummus appetizer which was different than typical hummus, more chunky in nature but very flavorful. It was served with plenty of carrots, broccoli, cucumbers and flatbread. For entrees my wife had the shrimp atop risotto which she brought half home, and I had the salmon which was served atop a whipped tomato sauce and roasted succotash. Both entrees were delicious. We finished it off with the terrarium dessert which was fair at best, consisting mostly of crumbles. The service was attentive but the restaurant was very loud. Also, sitting outside with the fans on creates somewhat of a strobe affect which may affect certain people.
