Food and service was very good but they double booked the porch which we reserved. We got a phone call 10 minutes before our reservation that we couldn’t be on the porch. We made the reservations here because we wanted to eat outside. We were just told sorry your inside. They made no effort to rectify this with a discount, free drinks, a free appetizer or dessert, just something to say as a patron you are as important and we are sorry for our error let’s make your experience a little better by taking care of you. A little customer service goes a long way. Mistakes happen but it’s how they are handled that makes all the difference.

Horrible dining experience! Made a reservation and selected on the form it was for our Anniversary and got stuck at a square table in middle next to an older party and the bar with a TV. Only 2 tables were occupied including ours on the floor and 2 moon shaped private tables along the back wall - one with a young couple and another with a 3 person party. Then it took an hour to get our food. Only about 5 min before the food came out did we get a bowl of 2 pieces of crunchy rolls (smaller than garlic knots). I thought I might break my teeth on them. The steaks were charred on the outside and crunchy. I ordered medium. My wife ordered well done, but hers was more pink than mine - which was easy to see even in the dim lighting. The brussel sprouts were a charred tasteless crunchy flaky salad and the potatoes were square cut from a casserole. I expect more for dining at restaurant that portrays itself as upscale and charges over $50 per plate for filets. I tipped 20% as this isn't the waitresses fault, but it wouldn't have hurt for her to ask how we were or how our food was. When we left there was no one the say goodbye, thanks, have a good night. After we got home the food had us in the bathroom for quite a while and I went straight to bed as I felt dizzy. All I could taste in my mouth was the charred brussel sprouts from numerous burps after dinner. All I can think is that we went on the wrong night. Perhaps this was a staff training night because it was a Tuesday and the entire staff was new including the chef. Needless to say, there's $100+ we aren't getting back and absolutely won't be spending again at SURV-Forks, PA. We will warn everyone we know about this experience so they don't waste their time, money or anniversaries here.

The food last night was absolutely delicious — bread, mussels, tuna tartare, pork and pizza. Our party of 4 enjoyed every bite. The service, however, was maddeningly slow. We sat next to a big table that came in after ours who were served before we were. My husband had to go up to the bar and talk to our waitress. We decided that we will order pick-up here from now on. It’s too bad because the atmosphere is lovely too.

Perhaps we chose from the menu poorly but nothing we ordered was as we expected expected. Ask questions! Of the three different dishes we shared, each had a sauce that was unexpected and ruined the taste.

Would have been nice to know that it was buffet only today. Nothing stated on Open Table or on SURV website. I would not have chosen to eat here today had I know this. 2 in my party are not big eaters and therefore I overpaid. Noise rating was based on the poor choice of music played. Most songs were not appropriate in my opinion. Had to ask and wait 3 different times for items to be refilled and some of the Deserts were never replenished. I have eaten off the regular menu many times and always had very positive experience in all categories!

Mother’s Day brunch. Food was barely edible, looked gross tasted worse. Price of $53 for adult and $19 for child was highway robbery. Dessert looked like you ran to ShopRite and bought $30 worth of almost expired items. Drink was terrible too. Server added a 20% large party fee for 2 people. Overall terrible service, food ambiance everything. Never going back.
