My fiancé and I absolutely loved this restaurant! We travel frequently and always try to find the best Indian food in whatever city we are in. This place did not disappoint!! It had a very romantic vibe with dim lights and an awesome bar. The service was great from our waiter, hostess, and bar tender. The food was so good!! I can’t recommend this place enough.

As we entered the restaurant first thing we saw was a mouse run out. As for food which Indian restaurant serves Siracba for chutney. Food is very average and tasteless. Will not go back again.

The experience at Sura was amazing. The staff really took care of us—Malvin, I believe his name was—provided excellent service. The food was exceptional. They accommodated dietary restrictions for my guests, which was much appreciated. The cocktails and drinks were also very good. This restaurant is now my go-to place.

We tried this new Indian restaurant for the first and, alas, the last time. The food was just ok- portions very small. They got one of the dishes wrong, although they corrected it. You get very little for your money. There are much better Indian restaurants in Philly. We were really hoping for better- we will not be back.

Ok experience. Server/bar tender forgot our drink. Ran completely out of water and had to flag someone down. Service was slow Food was good but not over the top..

We had gone there for brunch and a g2g of schoolmates.We had made the reservation in advance since that was the commensement week of UPenn.We got into the restaurent exactly on time and were taken to the second floor where there was seating arrangement for bigger groups.We ordered some drinks, beer and dishes like Indian Ghotala,Shami Sliders,Chana Bhatura,Kheema pav and chicken tikka benny. The server was nice but there was a disconnect between him and the kitchen. He mentioned that they would prepare a vegeterian kheema pav with paneer replacing kheema but later realized that they do not have it,He also was confused in chicken tikka benny where non veg(chicken)was expected but was not there.While ordering the desserts he assured Shahi Tukda but later realized that they don t serve it for brunch. Also he forgot to bring coffee for one of the attendee. In all the restaurent is good, food is nice and delicious but they should add more items on the menu especially for the vegeterian customers. I will definitely go there again to try out different items may be for dinner. They don't have dedicated parking but you can find space (metered) on road if you are lucky otherwise there are paid parking lots near by.

We've never had this type of Indian food before. Everything sounded wonderful, and it was. One dish was better than the next. We had the malag soup, the beet and melon salad, the triple kebabs, the lamb loin cutlets, saag paneer, and the pistou with chicken. We topped off the meal with the scrumptious apricot dessert. The restaurant itself was lovely inside. Recently renovated and beautifully done. On a Tuesday night it was quite busy with all but one table occupied. Our server, Rain, had great suggestions for our meal choices. She did a great job and was very pleasant.

The service was really good, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian cuisine with a bit of modern twist. The ambience was really nice, and we really loved all the dishes, especially the Khumb Majestic and the Gobi Angaara. Would visit again!
