Sugar Factory American Brasserie brings its high-energy atmosphere to Dover, DE. The family-friendly, celebration destination known for its over-the-top sweets & treats, the world-famous restaurant promises a memorable experience. My husband and I went for his birthday to try something new and it was a great choice! We did the sampler platter, Cajun seafood platter and the grilled salmon. All of it was delicious!

We were an hour early for our reservation. We were accommodated early without issue. Hostess and wait staff were professional and polite. Definitely a novelty, not someplace you would go all the time. But the food was good and we had a great time.

This was one the worst dining experiences that we’ve had as a family. While celebrating our daughter’s high school graduation dinner at the location at Bally’s in Dover, DE, we experienced poor service, extremely salty food, and an unbelievable amount of flies swarming around our food the entire time we were seated. The service from the supervisor and wait staff was not warm and inviting, the waiter messed up my husband’s order then he had to wait to be served after our entire family had already almost finished eating….Only to be sadly disappointed that his Alfredo Pasta tasted as if he were drinking salt water. We basically swatted away flies throughout the entire time that we tried to eat our extremely salty and overpriced food. We had a booth seat which was dirty and full of crumbs from the previous party who sat there and the huge goblets of drinks were super overpriced, starting at about $38 a cup. After dinner, we spoke to the supervisor that was on duty and she basically deflected from each of the complaints that we had and was very offensive instead of being apologetic and compassionate. My Family and I would most certainly NEVER go back to this Sugar Factory ever again!! We strongly do not recommend this place if you really want good food for a decent price. If they don’t get this place together I wouldn’t be surprised if it were shut down due to lack of cleanliness, poor service, bad food and overpricing.

The sugar factory was great the food was awesome. The waitress was very nice but the drinks were way too high

Frequent visitor. Food was awful during this visit. Rolls were stale. Lettuce in salad wilted. Dressing tasted sour. Service was good. Many flies in the restaurant The food has been inadequate the last two visits so we will not be returning.

Loved previous visits, however, service was really bad this time. We requested a birthday shout out and even after reminding the host, it never happen. Our server went missing in action for 80% of our meal.

The food just didn’t taste good. I’ve been to the one in Atlantic City and it was great. Maybe my expectations where to high.
