The Ghost Light Inn’s restaurant, Stella, is inspired by local ingredients from the region’s best farmers and artisans. The restaurant offers 80 seats with indoor and outdoor tables, and private dining spaces for events and gatherings. The outdoor patio displays sweeping views of the Delaware River. The main dining room offers a mix of freestanding tables and booths.During the winter months, reservations for outdoor tables are not available. However, you are more than welcome to make a note in your reservation that you would like to sit outside. The patio is heated.
Parking in New Hope can be hard to come by. The parking lot located in front of Stella is owned and operated by the Bucks County Playhouse. Stella cannot validate parking. When valet is present the cost to park is $30. Excellent. We really enjoyed the food. Many times, we leave a nice restaurant disappointed that the value wasn't there. Here, the value is there. The food was delicious, the service wonderful, and the view was beautiful. It is a typically priced finer restaurant, but very approachable and well worth it. My husband enjoyed his scallops dish, and I really loved the pork two ways. The pork belly was to die for. The brussels sprouts appetizer was addicting and way better than other brussels apps we have had elsewhere. We will be back, even if it was a bit far for us. We finally found a place where we didn't feel robbed.

Stella Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience overlooking the scenic Delaware river. The exceptional harissa carrots appetizer impresses with its perfect blend of spice, yogurt, and carrots. The diver scallops, with a delightful crust, are outstanding. Highly recommended!

Stella's is what a great restaurant looks like. A truly memorable dinner at Stella's. The staff were extremely accommodating. We were able to sit on the deck which was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the Delaware River and Lambertville. Our server, Jess C, was wonderful and very professional. Also, a great sense of humor. Now the food. All four of us had a different entree. The scallops were fantastic. The Pork combo was tender and very tasty. The Dorado fish entree was cooked perfectly as was the Salmon filet. We had such a good time, that we went back after the Playhouse, and had desert and coffee. At that time, the patio was very busy, but again the front staff were extremely accommodating.

First time visiting the New Hope area and had the pleasure of dining at Stella. The food and service was lovely. Would recommend.

Stella is rapidly becoming in of my favorite places to eat when I’m in the New Hope area. I can even stomach the 30$ valet fee since all of those dollars benefit the Bucks County Playhouse. The burrata/ beet salad is delicious the views of the Delaware are great and there’s a creative drinks menu. Definitely worth checking out.

Food good, service good. The tables were arranged so only 2 out of 4 at our table had a view of the river - all they had to do was spin the tables and then everyone could have enjoyed it. But the parking was $30.00 (no discount for diners as at Lambertville Station Restaurant) when the restaurant website said $20.00. In any case it is overpriced. What the heck?

Outstanding! No other word for Stella. The ambience - check. The service - check. The cocktails - check. The menu choices - check. The food itself - check. One of the finest meals we've had in a long while. There were 4 of us, all with different tastes and standards and all of us agreed that Stella is excellent on all counts. We can't wait to return.

This was one of the nicest restaurants I've been to, rivaling any NYC fine-dining experience. The food was delicious. Our waitress was very informed and was able to describe numerous wine choices to help us decide. The meals were beautifully plated and the ambiance added to our culinary experience. We finished with two desserts, totally worth the calories. The meal was expensive, but felt fairly priced given the quality and experience. This restaurant is a good choice for a special occassion or person.
