Not just another steakhouse, Steak 48 - Philadelphia is a contemporary steakhouse featuring prime steaks, a raw bar and extensive fresh seafood selection, other unique appetizers and side dishes including a double baked truffle potato, asparagus fries and corn crème brûlée, classic cocktails and an extensive award winning wine list.

In order to support our service staff there is a 20% gratuity on all checks. At Steak 48, we encourage all of our guests to get dressed up for a great experience. In order to maintain an enjoyable environment for all guests, athletic wear, excessively revealing clothing, exposed undergarments will not be permitted. We prefer no printed t-shirts, hats or visors and always appreciate collared shirts or sports coats. Please dress as your elegant selves. You are going to have a great time!

This place is truly my favorite restaurant in the city. The food is absolutely exquisite, the ambiance is posh, and the service is some of the best in the city. Not only is the food stellar, but they are receptive to feedback and strive to make it even better. The restaurant vibe makes me feel like every time there is an extra special occasion. And the staff are top notch - professional, polished, and very educated on the food and wine. Cannot wait to go back to celebrate my next big occasion.

One of the best meals we have had. It started with incredible service from Shannon and some great suggestions. We started with cocktails that were truly 2 cocktails each as the shaker it was made in was also brought table side that filled up the martini glasses a second time. Yes the drinks are expensive, but what they gave you for it was a value. Well done. Appetizers included a shrimp topped Deviled Egg with 3 full eggs, that was outstanding. another value, we ended up taking home. Shannon also recommended the chicken fried lobster. Just get it. Never had it before, but will be having again. $52 for this but came with 3 small lobster tails deep fried. and so delicious and tender. For dinner, I had the new Branzino covered with Lemons and an old bay type seasoning that was out of this world. Are the entire thing. My wife had the 8oz Filet that was cooked perfectly. Took half of that home as well. The sides were all outstanding, topped by the Lobster and rock Shrimp Mash Potatoes. Not on the menu, but recommended by the server and another winner. The other two items were standard Brussels with added bacon for great flavor and sautéed Sweet corn with great favor. If you like chocolate, the chocolate bomb for dessert was sensational. . All in all, just a fabulous experience.

From the glass enclosed booth with a view of the kitchen to the special touches for my wife's birthday, the entire staff knocked it out of the park. I even received a phone call from the manager inquiring about our visit. I gave a lower score in the value category only because of the price. If price is no issue for you then it would be an outstanding value.

I have been to Steak 48 Philadelphia several times and have very rarely been disappointed. For a standard two-person dinner, you can expect to pay ~$375 - $400 including appetizers, a few drinks, entrees and sides, desert, and gratuity. The staff is very attentive and always follows up on any issues that occur during dinner service. The food is truly superb and I've never had any complaints. The only consistent gripe I have is that the atmosphere is a bit confusing. The venue gives off the very classy vibe that you'd expect from a fine dining experience. However, the music is a very strange mix; playing everything from Nina Simone to Bruno Mars. Overall, Steak 48 is a wonderful upper-mid tier dining experience for anyone wishing to celebrate a milestone or just have a really nice date.

Steak 48 provided an exceptional dining experience for my wife's graduation dinner. The evening was made even more special by our server, Amer, whose attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and engaging conversation truly enhanced our celebration. The menu did not disappoint—both the lamb and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. The lamb was deliciously tender and flavorful, and the filet mignon was executed with expert precision. The quality of the food, combined with the outstanding service, guarantees that we will be returning. Steak 48 is highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a top-tier meal.
