Spinnerstown Hotel is a restaurant serving rustic local cuisine in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The dining areas of are divided into 3 parts. The first is a casual soapstone bar and wooden booth-lined taproom, with 18 rotating beers on tap and a simple, rustic atmosphere. The second is a handsomely homey dining room (sans TV) complete with a fireplace, stone walls and hand painted ceiling. The third is an outside barn-like deck with vaulted ceilings. The cuisine is simple farmhouse fare, but with its own modern twist. Diners will find house-made burgers, Belgian-style mussels and hearty entrées like the in-house butchered boneless rib eye or hand rolled gnocchi. In addition to these standards, the menu is constantly under development, using fresh, seasonal ingredients to consistently create new dishes. An exceptional beverage selection encompasses a value-driven wine list, hand crafted cocktails, a legendary beer program, and a temptingly stocked bottle shop.

1st time dining (traveling through area) and had great experiences. My Pork and waffles was amazing as well as my wife’s peppercorn strip. Great good done right!

Our second trip to Spinnerstown for our anniversary. Emily was great, kind, accommodating, and fast! Another great experience. We had the filet last time, so this time we did the NY Strip… it was even better than the filets! 🫡

The onion soup was cold. The sandwiches were greasy. I heard another couple complaining about their food right behind us, seems that their dinner was swimming in grease. I was supposed to get a surprise birthday desert with a candle for my wife and that didn't happen. Overall, for the price I would have done much better at the West End or the Brick Tavern. I can't believe that these guys are so much more expensive. Very disappointed. First visit, last visit. Way to impress your customers.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that you had a less than desirable experience at our restaurant. In these situations, it always better to let your server know when you are dissatisfied. Given the opportunity, we would have certainly addressed your concerns. Your server did ask you how your meals were and no dissatisfaction were stated. I would just add that we sell so much Irish onion soup and have never been told that it was cold. The French Dip sandwiches are beef that are served with au jus, not greasy gravy. Perhaps the Boursin cheese spread did not agree with you? No dessert was ordered, therfore, the server did not have the opportunity to put a candle in the dessert. It seems like their was a misunderstanding with your request. We are sorry.

This place is awesome, wonderful food and service. My husband and I have eaten there many times and never had a bad experience with anything. We live almost an hour away and still try to go twice a month.

We attended Spinnerstown for Mother's day dinner this year as a party of 7. Overall, it was a great experience. Our server Jarad did a great job. We sat on the deck which was quaint and had other large parties (one table was easily 12+ people) and it was still not super loud. My wife, oldest daughter, and I all had the twin filet. Steak temp was perfect, I liked that instead of having to order a $15 salad you can opt for a salad with your entree for $2/3 (garden/caesar) We will definitely be back; my one "could do better" comment would be that we sat for nearly 30 minutes before the table was greeted. I don't think we were initially supposed to have Jarad, I think he picked up the table for another server after we had waited so long. (Thanks again Jarad!) Normally, that would be a star knocked off, but we're going to acknowledge that it was Mothers day give them the benefit of the doubt as they were literally so busy that they had to wait for silverware to wash to give us place settings - it doesn't get any busier than that!

We have not been to The Spinnerstown Hotel in years, as we are no longer living in the area. The whole atmosphere changed! Never knew they offered outdoor dining. There outdoor seating fit the bill. We happen to hit Beer Week. The offerings were plentiful. I enjoyed the interesting wine list. My husband was wowed by the bourbon list. Our server was personable as well as knowledgeable. We elected to have a casual dinner and we both chose the French Dip sandwich. Their addition of Boursin to the sandwich made it very interesting. Portions are so generous, we could have shared one sandwich and had more than enough to eat. Definitely recommend.
