We had a great time dining on the patio! Food, wine & dessert were great. We brought our own wine & dessert & the fees for both were crazy so beware! Charged us 40$ to bring in a cake which they did not store or cut. We had to ask for plates & forks, too! It was a nice time.

Party of three, two out of three loved their meal. One party had the chicken, but thought the cost of the chicken was pricey. The chicken tasted a little rubbery as if not fully done.

Overall great food and service. It just needs improvement when servers from the kitchen comes out with food or new orders, they usually were confused as to what table ordered it. Orders were given to wrong table customers wondering that they did not order those because it was the wrong table. There has to be a better system for them to know which table ordered those food

Not a good place for brunch unfortunately. We got the chilaquiles, the veggie omelet, and the salmon toast, which were all really bland yet expensive. Lost our server after he took our order. The place just feels really understaffed. I think the popularity of this place has to do with the outdoor spaces and location.

First time visiting. Sat in the covered, heated outdoor area adjacent to Juanita Creek. Very nice spot. Lively but not obnoxiously loud. Found the service to be very good...friendly, helpful and more than adequately attentive. Now for the important part...the food was excellent. Started with the mussels with sausage. Absolutely lovely. For entrees, I had the scallops with pork belly and my girlfriend had the rigatoni with sausage. Both were excellent. The scallops (3) were done perfectly and presented over nice chunks of belly. The pasta was house-made and cooked perfectly finished with a beautiful cream sauce with a generous amount of pork sausage. All in all, an excellent experience. My only knock, and it's not confined to this restaurant by any means, is the value, or lack thereof. Unfortunately, that's just the reality these days.

A friend and I went for lunch and sat outside on their patio. It is a beautiful setting. There was almost no one there so our service was perfect. The food is amazing and I will definitely go back with my husband for dinner. I think it is priced a little high for the neighborhood. I hope it lasts because we need more good restaurants in North Kirkland/Juanita.

Very tasty food, great cocktail and bar selection and plenty of parking at the adjacent business parking lot opened for sparrow overflow during dinner hours. There is normal dining area seating, bar area seating, and a covered temp controlled patio where we can bring our dog which is a huge plus for us. Quality food ingredients, friendly and professional staff, and an very refreshed decor make this place a great option for when you are looking for a place on the nicer ($$) side but still has a friendly and welcoming feel to it... like bringing your dog. Love love this place.

This was our first time at Sparrow and for birthday. We sat outside in the sunroom and chose the Seattle Restaurant Week 3 course dinner. The food, cocktails and service were excellent. The only downside was a bit loud with music and surrounding parties. We will definitely dine at Sparrow again, but maybe try indoor dining room.

Food was yummy and service was spot on. They checked many times to make sure we had what we needed. I had the halibut which was moist in a delicious orange sauce with oh so thinly sliced garlic. My husband loved his 10 oz sirloin. The cons were: the temperature was on the cool side. He left his coat on and I left my blazer on. I saw another woman diner rubbing her arms for warmth. It would have been more cozy with a bit more warmth. Probably only me.

My friend I went to Sparrow for Seattle Restaurant Week for a 3 course menu at lunch. We ordered different items, so we basically got to try 6 different menu items. Sausage and mussels were a bit odd as a pairing. They felt like separate flavors, not complementary. Burrata avocado offered a varying texture profile and was a relatively fresh and light appetizer. Halibut was well-cooked, not overdone, flaky, and flavorful. Zucchini linguini with chicken was simultaneously filling and light. It could have also been paired with shrimp. Dessert was creme brulee and a flourless chocolate cake. I preferred the creme brulee for its relative lightness, but I also don't really like dense cakes, which flourless chocolate cakes always seem to end up being. Overall, food was 4 out of 5, interesting enough, but more importantly, well-prepared. The restaurant interior is beautiful. Noise level was low. Service was expeditious but not intrusive. He timed the courses well to match our eating pace. I'd go back again for a special occasion.

We reserved the sunroom but it was a bit noisy. The staff was able to quickly accommodate us in the lounge where we enjoyed a delightfully peaceful and delicious brunch. Although I had dinner there several times, it was my first time brunching there and it did not disappoint. Service and food quality is till impeccable. Would highly recommend!

The appetizer is too salty. The main course doesn’t have any side dishes or sauce with it. But the dessert was excellent. I love the customer service, he keeps on checking on us to make sure that we are doing ok and if we need anything else.

Although we ordered for the table at the same time, our food did not come out at the same time. It was over 15 minutes between bringing the last item. When you have kids, this is not acceptable. I didn’t appreciate the automatic 20% gratuity added to our bill.

We have had good experiences in the past but tonight was not good. The service was horrible. We had to go find someone to to take our order. It was very disappointing as we were celebrating a birthday. I literally have never given a bad review in my life. The sausage Rigatoni was excellent though!

Lovely atmosphere and great service. The avocado toast while tasty, left me wanting more for the price. It was only half of a ciabatta roll. More like an appetizer then a meal. The donuts were amazing and similar to beignets. Drinks were very nice.

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and the table location was good. The food was ok but it feels like the portions are large to justify the price. It feels like this restaurant has a bit of an identity crisis- it has higher prices indicative of higher end restaurants but the food and service didn’t really back that up

The food is spot on. Shareables and Entrees are the best. Desserts and salads are not the highlight. Specialty cocktails are good but limited. I tend to stick to their wonderful wine list but have extensive list to choose from. I love the mid-century 'Ish decor and the ambience as a whole. Service has always been impeccable. Great for groups or date night.

Had brunch with some family here. Everyone enjoyed it. I had the crab avocado toast. It had a decent amount of crab on it & the egg was poached perfectly. I got some fresh fruit on the side & they were nice enough to grant my request of no cantaloupe. Two others had lamb chilaquiles and were pleased. One had chicken & waffles. All of their dishes were a pretty generous serving size. The chicken & waffles was very good. The chicken was extra crispy and flattened out nicely. We found the addition of pickles a bit odd though. We also shared the doughnut holes which came out still warm and were tasty. Crisp in the outside & soft on the inside. Out waitperson was attentive & friendly. I think the prices are a smidgen on the high side. Overall, a positive experience though.

Disappointed by the seating in this restaurant. I made reservations weeks in advance to assure we would have a nice table. We were planning to have a dinning experience, hors d’oeuvres, drinks, dinner and desert with coffee. The whole thing . Instead got settled at a tiny table between two other parties, no ambience , no privacy, not exactly what we had hoped for. Needless to say disappointed. If you walk up and ask for a table you get what you get but treating you with little regard after taking the time to request a table seems a little bit uncaring especially when larger table and booths were available.

Our first time there - Soon as we walked through the doors we were greeted very respectfully and seated almost instantly once they found our reservation. Sat in the outdoor patio, it’s warm, as advertised. To each their own, my girlfriend absolutely loved the heat, I didn’t mind it too much. Our waitress was very polite. Had a three course meal, the food was indeed good. Nice restaurant overall but nothing to write home about.
