We are ecstatic to open a state of the art open kitchen server the two dish we recklessly love and can not live without; noodles and sushi. Our goal is to focus heavily on freshness and quality as we make craft noodles and sushi for our guests. That also means we will be making everything from scratch in house. This includes soups, tare (sauces), toppings, and last but not least, fresh crafted noodles. In the short time we have been opened we have been well received in terms of reviews critics and diners alike with awarding 4.5+ stars in all platform including Yelp, Open Table, and Google reviews. The food is great, the atmosphere is lovely, and the service is good. Love having this restaurant in my neighborhood. But you should definitely come here no matter where you live.

Went here on a whim and had a great time with delicious food. Unfortunately had to steer clear of most sushi due to being pregnant but ramen was delicious and our small plates to start were fun and interesting. Staff was helpful but not overbearing and everyone in the restaurant was in great spirits enjoying themselves with delicious food.

We had a good experience here. Food and service were good, and we expect to go back. That being said, there was room for improvement in every category.

Sat at the counter. Food was phenomenal and the service was great. The fish was so fresh. Loved the music! Will definitely be back.

Our first time there. Sat at the chef’s counter so we could see them making the food. We had: shishito peppers, tako carpaccio and miso black cod (our favorite!) to start, then pork jowl Heo buns and several hand rolls. Everything was fabulous! Our server Olivia and the owner Alan (sp?) we’re so helpful. One note: currently a BYO but will have full service bar soon. Highly recommend this place.

From the moment we entered the door, we loved every moment of our experience. The waiters and sushi chefs couldn't be more welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and creative. We look forward to driving into the city from the suburbs to enjoy another special meal here!

Chef Yonten has done it again! The food was AMAZING, the open kitchen was wonderful, and the service was top notch. In my opinion, any where Chef Yonten and his team go will be the best sushi restaurant in Philly. We split the chefs choice omakase, a couple apps, and the no-broth ramen with the miso cod. Everything from start to finish was incredible. If you are looking for an amazing meal run, don't walk, to Shiso

Great experience at the sushi bar! The chefs were wonderful and the food was delicious. The fish was very high quality and it is always fun to interact with the chefs. We also ordered ramen and the generous portions of rich broth and silky noodles were very enjoyable. I’m so glad something has finally gone into the old Serpico space and I am sure this place will do really well!

Wow! The food at Shiso is amazing. We had sushi rolls that were so delicious. We also had ramen that was fabulous! It was as good or better than the one we had at a highly acclaimed ramen restaurant that in NYC. We will be back again soon.
