As usual, Revel delivers great service and great food! The sauces are so flavorful and there isn’t a dish I don’t love. Been coming here for 8 years. Rachel Yang leads her team so well—Joule is also incredible. See you again soon!

Every dish was a delight—especially the lamb skewer appetizer and the chocolate torte. And the staff was fantastic. I would go back anytime (and do!)

Outstanding food! Great service! Every visit I love more than the last. The Dungeness crab noodles are always a favorite. This time the asparagus pancake, wontons and trout were also big hits.

Halibut ceviche was underwhelming. Needed a crisp to be served on, more acid or a crisp to eat it on. Fish tasted fresh, but with a fish like halibut it needed more flavor to elevate the mild fish. The tuna bowl lacked flavor. Only think that saved it was adding the table sauces. The tuna was also over cooked

The service and atmosphere are wonderful. As many people have said the dumplings are amazing and the cocktails were delicious. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was pretty underwhelming. I would particularly avoid the tuna bowl which was shockingly bland, including the kimchi. It might've just been a bad night but I was a little dissapointed.

The food was fabulous and the service was great. It wasn't the restaurant's fault that the young women who were seated next to us talked at an obnoxiously loud volume. Thankfully we were mostly finished by then. They would have been considered ugly Americans overseas.

Most of the dishes is good, but just good. Some of them, like cucumber salad and tuna rice, taste not so good. Especially the rice, tastes terrible, very dry and not fresh, together with a very dry seasoned tuna, can’t understand why the pair of these two.

The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was friendly and attentive. We had the wontons, tuna rice bowl, and spicy miso rice cakes. Everything was delicious. The rice cakes dish was hotter than expected, but a highlight of the meal.

I can’t remember the last time everyone in our family was absolutely in awe of how delicious their meal was. The food was truly divine. The cocktails were very creative, but largely too creative for the average person to find some thing they loved. And the music level was absurd. The restaurant mgmt could improve on those fronts, but the food was a true standout and worth going for again and again.

We (a party of 5) went to Revel for a Happy Hour/early dinner. We were able to take advantage of the happy hour menu for some initial small plates and drinks and then moved to the dinner menu for more. Dishes are meant to be shared family-style and are very appropriate for that. Some highlights were the rice cakes, the beef won tons, and the brussel sprouts. It was a little noisy as the evening picked up, but we were able to have conversations at normal speaking levels.

It has been months since I last visited. The menu changes to some of the favorites like short rib dumplings and short rib rice bowl are a miss in my opinion. The execution of flavors, plating and cooking methods used previous were much better. Great attentive service however.

Revel remains one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food is always imaginative and delicious, and the service is exceptional. I can’t overstate how much of a must-try this restaurant is!

I love the food here, just different good different & lots of flavors! the mungbean pancake are sooo good, make sure you try them out and i love the brussels sprouts too! If you have a gluten, diary allergy or just like to eat vegetarian it is easy here and lots of choices!

The wontons! The food is delicious. We decided to do more of a family style and share each plate of food ordered to ensure we tried a little of everything on the menu. We had a very pleasant experience and will certainly go back.

Menu vs reality- some people like cilantro. To some people, cilantro taste quite foul. To me it tastes like liquid soap, Palmolive specifically. A restaurant chooses how to describe a dish. If a dish contains cilantro, I ask if it’s optional. But not listing it doesn’t prompt me to ask. I’m sure the food is great, well cared for & prepared by talented chefs……. but it all tasted foul to me. Not because it’s bad, just because at the last minute, the dish prep involved adding a handful of foul tasting weeds. Yup.

Interesting and imaginative modern Korean cuisine. The crab noodles were very good also the rice cakes. Kim chee assortment was ok but not very spicy or sour (and a little pricey!). Service was fine

Like the mushroom rice plate, and pork wonton. Cocktail was great too, the Lazy G and hot wine taste(ice wine cocktail forgot name) both very good.

This place used to be one of my favorites! The cocktails were yummy and creative, and the food was reliably delicious, no matter what you got. It's been a year since I've been back, and it's not the same. The rice cakes, that were always a fan fave, seemed like they were sitting around a while, then fried. Everything had that same red sambal spice, it seemed. The trout, the rice cakes, the spare rib wontons. They all used to be unique and great. Now, it's just OK. The beet salad was a handful of raw beets with little seasoning. The salads used to be so interesting and inspired. I don't think I'll be heading back. Too bad.

Food and cocktails are fantastic. Wonderful flavors. The short rib wontons are a must! Service was friendly but on the slow side (short staffed?). We were sat 25 min after reservation time. We ordered drinks and sat at outdoor firepit in meantime.

I'm sorry I have to give a 3 star review to Revel that used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. My wife and I have been going here since they first opened. We dined there last night after not being in for a couple years and it is really not as good as it used to be. Gone are the fried short rib potstickers which is unfortunate. The wontons that replaced it are good but not as good as the fried potstickers. We also had the crab noodle dish that we used to love. The sauce has been changed and there is significantly less crab in it than there used to be. We tried the kimchi pancake but it is inferior to the pork pancake that used to be offered. Another surprise was the prices. Like most places in Seattle, prices have gone up so much that it makes one question going out to dine at all. The service was excellent but I'm wondering why a 4% or 5% fee was added to our bill without any mention that I saw about it. In any event, I tipped our waiter as usual since he deserved it. I'm sad to say we won't be returning to Revel again unless we hear changes are made for the better to their menu.

Revel's food has just the right balance of savory, sweet, spicy, and tangy. We shared the brussels sprouts and ribs-with-rice plate, both of which were great. There's a nice cocktail list, a selection of wines, and friendly bartender and servers. The wooden chairs in the bar could use some pads, and it's a bit on the noisy side, but those things do not spoil the experience. Highly recommend it for a casual night out.
