For our 20th anniversary we let the chef choose for us by ordering the chef’s choice special 4-course meal for two, and we were not disappointed. We especially loved the purple potatoes and mushrooms appetizer. Everything we were brought was delicious, but we also especially loved the scallops protein course and the financier cake dessert that came with mocha gelato and toffee crumbles. The portions were perfect, and we were nearly able to eat all of what was brought out—only the pasta course we asked to have some put in a to go box.

Highly recommend doing the tasting menu! The chefs made things that weren’t even on the menu and we had a great time. Make sure to do the wine pairing!

Restaurant Week Means Special Menu Only While we enjoyed most of our meal, I certainly wish it had been made clear (when making reservations) that we could only order the special 3 course meal. I am gluten free and have a few other food restrictions. The special menu was difficult for me.

We order three-course dinner for the restaurant week. Their appetizers were good, but the main course (seafood and pork belly) are very salty and oily. Desserts are just very ordinary and nothing special or surprised us. Overall we are very disappointed.

We had a special birthday dinner on a Saturday night. The power went out at the restaurant and they called us to cancel our reservation as they couldn’t open. Later the power came back on. We worked it all out and they were able to seat us and get their kitchen up and ready. Restaurant Week fixed price menu was excellent. Four tasty starters and a choice between Cioppino or pasta with pea pods. Great drinks, wonderful food and a delightful atmosphere!

Went for dinner and it was Restaurant Week. Decent menu but the apps were the stars. Super flavorful and unique options that were well portioned. Rockfish crudo was interesting and my least fav of the 4 apps. The cucumber rhubarb salad was so fresh and delicious. The asparagus was yummy as was the burrata on crostini. The entrees were good to excellent. The pasta was delicious and properly cooked with just the right amount of sauce. It was a cream sauce with fresh chopped peas-really great! The Cioppino had good flavor, but it lacked any fish (that was an additional $20+) so it was really just shrimp, mussels and clams. It was also a fairly small portion compared to the pasta entree and the third option, the Pork belly. We didn't order the pork belly, but it looked good and a healthy portion as we saw others order it. What is becoming standard in Seattle is overpriced cocktails. Raccolto is on trend here. I ordered an Aperol spritz that was fine-but not $17 fine, more like $12 fine. Not really a complaint but an observation that drinks are not well priced when compared to the rest of the menu. Dessert was decent but lacked something-we got the lemon tart dessert, and one was lemon and had a nice, toasted meringue on top and the other a custard, but it was less than flavorful. Our bill was $145 for two. I would like to go back and sit at the cute quaint bar and experience their original menu. The dining area is great if you get a booth but the tables in the middle seemed a little cramped. The waitstaff was very attentive and nice. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I will likely go back.

Excellent food and service. May need to book in advance, but we went on Sunday night and it seems to have seats avaible. The price is on the bit more expensive side - we spent total of $160 for two, but the food was very good.
