    Pumpkin is a total gem! Went for my birthday and couldn’t have asked for a more charming place to celebrate! The ambiance is an elegant-rustic vibe (clean and simple, white table cloths, candles, barn wood wall, vintage tin accents). The food is outstanding! It’s creative and interesting enough for the adventurous, but tasty and familiar enough that picky eaters will enjoy the dishes, too. The friendly and talented co-owner/chef made a visit to our table to welcome us and sent an extra special dessert for my birthday. We were invited to chat with him and a guest chef who was also there that evening and we left feeling that we had made new friends and found our new favorite BYOB in Philly!

    What a wonderful little BYOB restaurant with a creative menu that changes each week. The Server was spot on. We will be coming back. The cozy outdoor seating was a terrific choice with beautiful weather.

    Everything was wonderful except for my crabcake (one of 3 entree options on the pris fixe menu). It was a deep-fried disc that tasted mostly of filler. Crab was barely evident by taste, not at all by texture. To the restaurant's credit, they offered me an alternative entree.

    This was a special, 5 course wine pairing dinner that Pumpkin hosted with Vox Vineyards. The food pairing was terrific and the wines were superb, service right on. Excellent value for the whole deal. Great excuse for a night at Pumpkin. Thanks to Russ and all involved in pulling it together.

    Highly recommend this intimate and cozy BYOB. We had the prix fix menu. Appetizers, entrees and desserts were all stellar. Complex flavors and creative offerings. Friendly waitstaff

    The people working at Pumpkin BYOB and service were wonderful. The menu changes every day, and we happened on a night where the menu options were not of our particular liking. With a 24-hour cancellation policy, we were left with little option other than to dine there. Everyone else at the restaurant seemed to enjoy their meals. The food was innovative.

    Creative, well-executed dishes. Not extensive choices, but quality with what is offered across different food groups. Can be somewhat high noise inside due to intimate space, but this time we sat outside and it was fine. Have been coming here for years and always enjoy our meal.
