Le restaurant Sazerac porte son nom à cause d'un cocktail très ancien créé en Louisiane dans les années 1830 à base de whisky de seigle, du herbsaint, du bitters et un cube de sucre. C'est un excellent mélange qui vous donne une bonne idée de l'endroit d'où viennent les propriétaires. Situé à côté de l'hôtel Monaco Seattle, le restaurant propose des menus de nourriture et le bar du Sazerac mélange à la perfection les classiques avec une inspiration plus contemporaine de la région du Nord-Ouest du Pacifique dans un cadre élégant et éclectique qui vous accueille à bras ouverts.                                                     I didn’t realize when I booked that Outlier was a hotel restaurant. Sometimes when I end up at a hotel restaurant it’s not exactly great. If this wasn’t attached to the hotel, I’d have no clue! Fantastic food! Fantastic service!

                                                    It was a warm day, and they did not have A/C nor did they have giant ceiling fans like some restaurants in the area. It was honestly just a bit too warm in there (it was only 75 degrees outside; I imagine a 90-degree day being miserable). Otherwise, the food is really good (I highly recommend the rotisserie chicken) and the atmosphere is really nice. We enjoyed most of the food, and we loved our waiter, Frank.

                                                    The ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and elegant decor. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Each dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a culinary delight. I highly recommend Outlier for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

                                                    The food is so fresh and delicious. Our service was excellent and it seemed like everyone works together as a team. Our cocktails were amazing and reasonably priced. We will definitely return!

                                                    The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with blueberries were outstanding! They were fluffy, light, rich and the lemon played off the sweetness to give it a tart spin. Although a good sized portion, I was very hungry and also had two eggs, potatoes, and wheat toast which also were perfectly done and delicious!

                                                    Loved the service and the atmosphere. We decided to come downtown for dinner on a Friday weekend night instead of eating in our neighborhood. While the food was great, it was equivalent to the quality of food we’d get in our neighborhood; however, significantly more expensive. This was considered a treat for the family!

                                                    We ordered the burger and shrimp fettuccine. The burger was over cooked. I added on smashed avo of but it was sliced so it just fell out of the burger. The burger fell apart as soon as I cut it in half. The shrimp fettuccine was bland and tasteless. I could have made that at home. Definitely could have used a side of bread on the side. Serving size was small. So much potential at this cute restaurant! So dissatisfied with the food! Service was amazing! Great attitude and attention to our table of 5.
