In Philly for the weekend, as we have many times. We wanted something new. This restaurant just opened ~5 months ago and we already can’t wait to return! The sushi and sashimi were outstanding—some of the best we’ve had anywhere! So fresh that no matter whether it was the bluefin, toro, salmon, or yellow fin, it all just melted in your mouth! Even went back for seconds and had to try the A5 Japanese wagyu nigiri—increíble! Don’t pass this place up!

This place is SO good, a new neighborhood favorite. The sushi, robatayaki, and entrees we tried were all incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and well seasoned (especially the hangar steak robatayaki!!). Love that it’s a BYO, too. The desserts were also a highlight - I would come back just for the cheesecake and the black sesame ice cream! Service was knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. We will be back!

We got a variety of food: octo carpaccio, spicy scallops for apps, miso soup, shrimp & chicken udon and sashimi. Everything was very flavorful. Service was very good with server being very attentive. Will definitely return.

The very freshest and well prepared sushi we’ve had in a while! A small, dark neighborhood sushi restaurant with excellent service and solid sushi rolls. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous. We would recommend for that evening where you feel like a nice, quiet Japanese meal. Lunch service is supposed to be good, we went for dinner and will come back.
