    I personally feel the presentation and food has drastically declined over the years. The white laminated menus were also a shock as they look incredibly cheap.

    A somewhat disappointing dinner. It was extremely noisy in the restaurant, but fortunately we were able to be seated outside where it was quite nice. Service started out well, but attentiveness waned as the restaurant got busier. A second drink was ordered between the appetizer and entree and we had to ask the harried server several times about the drink which didn’t arrive until the meal was almost over. Having said that, the calamari and edamame appetizer was delicious, whereas the entrees just ok. Our primary server was lovely, but it appeared she was having to handle too much. Sadly, Nectar just wasn’t the same as we remember it to have been.

    Been going here for 20 years and my experience last night was far from excellent. My salmon smoked dish tasted burnt and the current selections were limited and overpriced. I spent $400 for our dinner and it was not great!

    Nectar was great! The vibe and service was awesome. It is a bit pricey for some of the dishes offered particularly the sushi as its comparable to other places not as fancy and trendy in the area.

    Food was disgusting. Not just bad, inedible. My SIL and ordered the same dish and we did not touch after two bites. My SIL put soy sauce all over her side of rice and ate that. I ate 4 quarters sized pieces of yellow squash and a teaspoon of rice. When the server collected our visibly, obviously, untouched meals, he asked us if we wanted a box and we both said “no thank you” simultaneously. When I was a waitress we were trained to recognize, even under less obvious conditions, that a patron white hot hated their dish. In fact we were trained to notice non-eaters early so we could offer them something else and salvage the experience. This server just walked away with our untouched dishes. Disgrace on its face. Don’t eat here unless it changes hands. Food is lousy and servers are untrained. Cocktails took forever and we were early - barely anyone there. Beer was warm and waitress was asked nicely to let us pour, because she turned them straight upside down to make a full glass of foam. She poured every time. The donuts were good. Get a take out order of them on your way home from another restaurant.

    Service staff is amazing! Food is delicious. The tea-smoked venison steak was the best venison I have ever tasted. Noise level was a little loud, but not enough to take away from the amazing food and service.
