My husband and I first time there, and it did not disappoint. Atmosphere, service and food were all amazing.

Absolutely NOT worth the hype or money! The only cool thing is eating on a historic boat. Understaffed at the bar, seated 40 minutes after our reservation, $9 for 6” piece of average wheat bread and butter, $65 steak was not prepared the way ordered (medium - was well done and not much flavor). Much better options in Philly for the money.

This is a one and done type of experience. The views are beautiful and the restaurant being in/on an actual boat is a unique experience. However, even with reservations my group of 4 waited 45 minutes to be seated. And this was having to go back to the hostess and asking for a status update. We had originally requested for a table outside on the deck of the ship but apparently even with a reservation and having to have waited 45 minutes. It would be an additional 30-45 minutes for a table outside. However, if we choose a seat inside it would be sooner. I wish these expectations were set when we first checked in as we would have rather sat inside if it meant not having to wait. Once seated our waitress was nice and attentive. She had mentioned it was very busy and apologized for every delay. Which happened often. We ordered the Crab Mac and Cheese as well as the crunchy rice tuna. Both of which were delicious but the Mac and cheese was cold and clearly sitting out for a while. Our meal consisted of the Lobster Frities, Lump crab cake and tuna takaki(or whatever it’s called). The lobster frities are market price and were not worth the 85$ price tag. The fries were soggy and the lobster was good. The lump crab cake was not short on crab meat but the portion to cost (48$) isn’t great. The tuna was the better of all dishes however it was cold when it got to our table. As I mentioned already, this is a one and done experience. The food was subpar, even if warmed properly and there are better dining experiences in Philadelphia that are no where near the cost of admission. Try it once and never go back.

Y’all 😂😂 I knew this was gonna be a tourist trap, but this was fully comical. We arrived on time for our reservation, and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait (already something I don’t expect from a restaurant at these prices). Half hour later, we go back to the host table to find out what’s going on, only to find a long line of people complaining they’d been waiting for 45 minutes for their table. The hostess was apologetic, but the management did nothing to compensate us for our wait. About an hour after we arrived, we’re seated. I have dietary restrictions, and the waitstaff, although eager and kind, was clearly not educated by management on how the dishes were prepared. To the point when I asked what was the base of the mocktail (the description was just “blueberry, lemon, mint”), the best answer I got was “syrup” (it was seltzer). Again, this is what I expect from The Outback, not a place where almost any dish costs upwards of $40. The food - when it arrived over an hour later - was truly terrible. I had the grilled swordfish and my boyfriend had the cheeseburger. They were both flavorless and cooked to a mushy texture. It wasn’t inedible, but the fact that I paid $43 for the most mediocre swordfish I’ve ever encountered definitely made me look at my life and look at my choices. The drink selection was mostly cheap beers, and, as my boyfriend put it, that tells you everything you need to know about this place. The cherry on top was when the manager came to tell us that the staff would be setting up for an event and moving tables around while the DJ would start playing loud music right where we were sitting. I could have pointed out that we were so close to their event time because everything had taken so long…but instead we just asked for the check. The design of the ship was cooler than I anticipated, and the nicest part of the evening was actually the half hour we waited on the boat deck. But maybe we should have left after that 😂

We loved the Moshulu for dinner. The ship is historic, unique and beautiful. The outside bar was too hot to sit. The service at the inside bar and table was excellent. The bartender made a perfect negroni but I'm pretty sure that was grapefruit and not orange in it and we can't eat grapefruit. Everything has gotten expensive, so I'm not sure I should knock it for value, but it's a bit pricey. The bathroom could've been cleaner. The area behind the sink was not cleaned that day. The employees were all hard working and pleasant. We'd return for another occasion.

I really enjoyed the service we received. Our waitress checked in on us and if something was not right, she corrected it.

We had a party of 7 for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was refreshing to see so many families and couples young and old enjoying themselves and dressed so beautifully. Everyone in our party ordered a different entree and everyone loved what they ordered. It was our server Michael who made the evening. He was so engaging and ensured that we had an exceptional dining experience. Thank you Michael!
