Looking to host a birthday, anniversary, holiday, corporate, or celebratory event at Tavern on the Square? The Erma Olin room is the perfect destination for any type of gathering for groups ranging anywhere between 12-20 people. We have limited availability in our dining room for parties larger than 5. Please note that these often book up far in advance. Large party reservation slots are available prior to 5:30pm and after 7:30pm. We have greater availability for large party reservations Sunday through Thursday so please let us know if alternate dates would suffice.

Nice outdoor patio. Food was excellent. Server was very nice and attentive. Kitchen was backed up as it was a very busy day, so food took quite awhile to come out.

The food took 52 minutes from the time of order and was lukewarm. The kids were starving. I had to ask 3 times regarding our meal. The server was trying her best but she was over booked with little help. The food wasn’t HOT by the time we got it. Wasn’t the greatest Mother’s Day experience, when I have to yell at my children to settle down because they were hungry. Definitely won’t do Mother’s Day there again

We arrived on time and were seated at a nice table. We ordered two cocktails and two entrees. After placing our order, I was told they didn’t have the sauce for my dish and could I pick something else. I selected another entree and we began waiting for our food. We waited an hour with no sign of our food and finally asked the server for an update. She came back and said it would be another 10-15 minutes. We agreed to wait longer. Another 5 minutes passed and another server told my husband that they have since ran out of his entree and could he pick another meal. At this point we were quite hungry and just decided to leave. We were disappointed we never got any food. And the staff did not offer to help in any way. We paid 40 dollars for two cocktails, and a not-so-great experience.

Eating outside on a beautiful day, with a great waiter (table of 6), delicious hot food. Love the courtyard - just don’t sit near the smoke…

Had a reservation and still waited 15 minutes to be seated. Food to a long time to arrive and was mediocre and very expensive for what ulyou got. Server was pleasant.

Party of 5 for dinner at 5:15. Several workers walked past us at the check in desk but didn't address us (two were actually AT the desk, not just walking by). We got seated, brought menus, etc. All seemed like it was going to be good. However, once we got our meals no one ever returned---not even to see if we wanted more water (which I did; finally flagged the wait person down and got warm water from the bottom of a pitcher). Food was either good or excellent. One person in our party ordered the salmon caesar. She would have liked to requested some more dressing, but no one ever returned. The cheeseburger was exceptional. Prices are about $8 more per dish than the link from the OpenTable site so most meals ranged from $19-$42, which did affect our choices.

We had the Anderson breakfast. The biscuits were really good and the bacon and eggs were fine; however, the cottage potatoes were not edible. They were totally burned. We did not have time to send them back as we had an appointment. They charge $5.50 for loose leaf tea. The total bill was almost $50. The waitress was friendly and nice. We will never be eating here again. We will go to our friendly coffee store for two lattes and a pastry.

Reserved for brunch and still had to wait to be seated despite a near empty restaurant. Service was timely but not attentive even though we were almost alone in the place. The (fried?) cottage potatoes were barely edible, but otherwise the eggs Benedict was well plepared and very good. Portion sizes were small for the exhorbitant cost. This place has spiraled down in quality recently and costs have gone way up, so we will probably not return.

The restaurant was very accommodating to our request to sit outside and to our changing number of guests. Food was lukewarm unfortunately.
