McMenamins Elks Temple Pub serves classic Northwest fare in a room with a view. You can’t help but gaze through the soaring windows toward Foss Waterway, but be sure to look up, too, for a fantastic display of chandeliers. From early breakfasts to late night cocktails, the pub is open to all ages serving breakfast classics like benedicts and scrambles, and for dinner elevated burgers and pizzas with an ever changing seasonal menu inspired by the Pacific Northwest.

    The chandeliers and interior design were incredible. With 7 people, I thought making a reservation was a good idea. It worked perfectly. The food, without tip & only 1 cocktail, was approximately $36/person. The appetizers were excellent, but there were no rave reviews about the food.

    This review for the elk's temple, I love this venue however McMenamins couldn't put your food in front of you in a half hour ever! Not even in the off hours. They have the greatest most pleasant staff however no matter how much you want it to your going to wait a long..... time for expensive food. I give up

    We had a 9:15am reservation and they were already limited on menu options. The service was very friendly but very slow and not very attentive. The restaurant was not very busy at all so it should not have been as inattentive as it was. The food was slow to arrive and was not really even warm. I doubt we will go back.

    Reserved a Pub Room table for a special occasion (birthday) after reading description of “gazing through the soaring windows toward Foss Waterway,” but got stuck in a small booth with no view by the bar service aisle. Food and service were fine, but definitely not the ambiance that was advertised. Disappointing for a special occasion.

    Food was OKAY, and it wasn’t busy being Mother’s Day. The building and atmosphere is amazing but service was incredibly slow and not very friendly.
