Hadn’t been here in far too long. Food, atmosphere and service (Erica!) was excellent. We will be back much sooner next time!

The restaurant is very loud and it’s difficult to talk at your table. Even our waiter could barely hear us when we were giving our orders.

We were expecting a quiet, riverside brunch but there was a party w DJ inside and a family w screaming children outside. (Not the restaurants fault of course.) The DJ music was blasting through speakers outside too. I just expected a more peaceful and upscale experience.

Overall, the food was atrociously mid for the price. The view was beautiful, and that’s basically what you were paying for. Our table got the pâté, the seasonal burrata, and the scallops for the main course. 38$ for five scallops is kind of wild and can’t say I can justify paying that much after eating it. The service was rather slow, and the small plates were relatively average for 18$. The pâté didn’t taste fresh and the grits that came with the scallops were pretty bland. Overall, I wouldn’t go back. The food quality simply doesn’t line up with the prices.

The ambiance was great sitting on the patio overlooking the river. Service was slow. A 1:00 lunch took well over 2 hours. I ordered a lemon pasta dish and added shrimp. It was $36.00. It was more like a soup pasta dish verses a lemon butter pasta dish. We felt we had to order drinks in advance because our server was not around too often. It was a $300 lunch for 4. I'd be okay with that if the food, service, and drinks matched.

I had a lovely birthday dinner at Martine’s, my friends and I each enjoyed our dishes thoroughly, I had the special (halibut and shrimp) and it was so delicious! I started with the Ricotta toast, definitely ordering it again in the future as well. The views downstairs, looking out into the water is lovely, and the cocktails were also excellent.

It pains me to write this review - Martine's was our favorite in New Hope - we come here often, love the ambience - food, drinks and view - even had our pre wedding dinner here. Saturday's dining experience however was a very expensive disappointment. 1 out of 3 meals was considered good - 1 really bad and 1 just okay - $20 margarita was sent back it was so bad - $15 cosmo came back just as bad however we didn't want to make a fuss for our guest we were taking out to dinner. Not sure if new ownership or new cook or new bartender but all we re asleep at the wheel on Saturday. I hate to be so negative as the wait staff is busting their butts serving people but after $300 and feeling taken advantage of something needed to be said. Hope they figure it out, we'll give it a rest for the near future.

This is a great place to have lunch while in New Hope. The view (sitting outside) is lovely. Food is good, wine list is ok. Our server was excellent, very attentive and jovial.

We were here on Saturday, 3/30/24 for dinner. The salmon was very good and cooked like I like it (drier without the fatty residue) with the bourbon (?) sauce and brussel sprouts but the mashed sweet potatoes under the salmon were cold. I didn't bother sending it back because it was busy, and our waiter was so quick I just never stopped him to mention it. My husband had the scallops also with brussel sprouts and he said they were good. They must have gotten a large shipment of brussel sprouts because they were featured in a lot of dishes. The noise level was high with a few large parties nearby. The tables are tightly arranged near your neighbors so don't plan on a quiet, intimate dinner. I want to come back in the armer weather and sit on the deck along the river. My husband mentioned his margarita tasted weak and was not a favorite.

Our visit to Martine’s was excellent. From the welcoming and attentive staff, delicious meal, to the atmosphere and views. We enjoyed our evening here. Cozy and quaint gem in New Hope!

Top notch service, top notch food from appetizers to desserts. Great decor and atmosphere. A little too loud. Difficult to hear our waitress at times, but otherwise a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend this place for special dinners. Still priced well given inflation. A much better value than some other New Hope eateries. I’d say top tier food and service at mid range prices. That’s excellent value to me.

Enjoyed the view of the Delaware River aa we dined. Phenomenal Brussels Sprouts and escargot. Perfect dining after seeing a show at Bucks County Playhouse!

This is an intimate space without much decor (except river views during the day, but not at night.) A wedding rehearsal dinner made it loud, but the host offered us the quietest location possible. Food was well prepared and plated. Server was warm and personable. Super friendly. Would return.

Food excellent, table service excellent. Host not at the station for several minutes upon arrival and did not greet us nor check with us when he came out. Then disappeared again. Seated almost 10 mins after we arrived even though there was no wait for a table.

Waiter was engaging and attentive. The view of the river is nice, ambience generally good. Food was disappointing. I initially ordered filet mignon, but it was quite tough and I sent it back. Ended up with a New York strip, which was better but not excellent. Sides were mediocre.

Went for a mid-week off-season dinner and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and the asparagus was some of the best I've ever had. The service was excellent with the waiter being friendly and attentive.

We had a great experience here! Our server tonight was Rich and he was very attentive without being overbearing. For appetizers we had the hummus and deviled eggs which were both amazing. We then split the salmon entree (they did tack on a $5 split plate charge which was not advertised (that I saw) but I felt that was reasonable) which was cooked perfectly and tasted outstanding. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse, also great. Only gripes I have about this place would be that the tables are VERY close together and it would be nice if the tables were angled in a way that allowed both guests to see the river. This is one of the best dining experiences I have had in New Hope and we will definitely be back!

The food, drinks and ambiance were wonderful & lively. The service was a bit slow as the staff was overwhelmed. They were apologetic & once the rush subsided, the rest of the service ran smoothly.

Wonderful restaurant. We were seated immediately and subsequent service was timely and impeccable. Menu selections, scallops, barramundi, and filet mignon were prepared perfectly with lovely preparation. Highly recommended.

A neighborhood gem with a great bar and a beautiful view of the river. Always great food and service (we sat at the Bar with Barb M. who is charming, competent, and engaging). One of our favorites in New Hope.
