    First time there appetizers we’re awesome, vibe was excellent! Mixed crowd, service was good all around a very nice night out with friends!

    Food, service and drinks were all great. Portions huge, special requests were made and prices reasonable. Restaurant was packed for a Tuesday night yet could hear conversations without a problem. Will definitely be back.

    I understand it was Mother’s Day and things get overwhelming, so my judgment is based on that, the food was great I don’t like the idea of dishes not coming out the same time, my daughter had to take hers home because it came out very late everyone was done. Plus we saw our water talking to the manager and the manager looked at us but did not come to our table and say anything. Our waiter was very nice but I think it was crazy night in general. We will go again for sure and give another try.

    The food was delicious. Food came out timely and as ordered. Overall, fantastic restaurant and will be coming again.

    This was not my first visit to LaScala's Fire in Newtown Square. It was my third visit and on Mother's Day. ❤️ Considering that it was Mother's Day it was a touch louder than usual and busier. So the service was a touch slower but still great and the server was quite attentive under the circumstances. We enjoyed a nice meal, had a great time and of course will be back again!?!

    Went for Mother’s Day lunch, food and service was absolutely wonderful. Definitely will be back!

    Disappointed after dining this past weekend. Far too loud — could hardly hear the other 3 at my table. A nonstop wall of sound! Made a reservation, but waited — without seats — for 20 minutes beyond our time. No apologies. My beer, La Scala’s signature brew, was oddly flat — and that isn’t right for an IPA. Two of our meals came 20 minutes after the other two. Server never stopped by to ask for a second round of drinks. Never refilled our water. We only had 3 table settings — and had to ask 3 times and wait 15 minutes to get that fork and knife. A 2.99% “convenience fee” to pay with a credit card? Come on. That is simply an end-around to make prices appear lower —and recover credit card fees — while sticking it to the customer. Food was decent. But not worth all the hassles and poor service.

    Love the atmosphere. The food and dessert fantastic. I wanted to help clean away the dishes on table which wasn’t being done. We thought the waitress was a little out there. Maybe she was new
