The service was extremely slow. There were pieces of fruit (I am guessing from the margarita) that were in the water. The waiter tried to explain where it was from but did not offer us another cup of water. There were two different tables sitting beside us that came at least thirty minutes or an hour after us that got their food before us and I believe received better treatment. They had a DJ but the restaurant was very small so I’m not sure why the music was so loud. It took away from the experience. We could not hear each other speak. They served our food in cardboard boxes????? No plates or Bowles. The plating was a joke. I am really disappointed as this restaurant seemed completely different online and I am pretty offended that it seemed like we were being treated differently than other guests.

This was our first time visiting, and will be our last time. We waited 25 minutes, after being seated, to see our server. Waited another 10 minutes to receive our first cocktail. Our appetizer came with our entree, and one entree never made it to our table. They were not so crowded while we were waiting, four empty tables in the back room with us. Sadly disappointed with this whole experience. They tried to compensate with tequila shots for my husband and I but it was too little, too late. Was hoping to have found a good Mexican restaurant to add to our rotation. Guess we’ll have to still look. Miss you Mexican Food Factory!

The food and drinks were amazing. I was surprised that the food was actually spicy because it’s hard to find an upscale Mexican restaurant that actually has spicy food. Drinks were super tasty and the right amount of alcohol. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. AND MUSIC WAS amazing.

The service and atmosphere was amazing! My picky 12 year old couldn't get enough of her Birria tacos and consome! My Tamarind margarita was made perfect.

Great food and drinks. Excellent service, charming restaurant. We went for Valentine's Day but we didn't know it would be a limited menu. It didn't seem to be advertised either on restaraunt's site or through open table. Just an observation, still love La Llorna. Also had live music, which is rare.

We were a party of 5 celebrating my daughter’s birthday. The food was great! Our server was great! Everyone loved their meal. We will surely return.

Excellent food- upscale Mexican!! Short ribs were the best we’ve had. The Carnitas tacos were also great. Beware of the spicy/hot sauce! Guacamole was delicious and served attentive. Highly recommended this place!

Gave this place a try due to great ratings and proximity to the Wells Fargo Center. Easily secured reservations through Open Table app. We all enjoyed an excellent meal. Tacos, Birra tacos, and chicken Tinga quesadilla stole the show. Their guacamole is out of this world!! Homemade chips and salsa were fabulous. Most of all, the staff were all very attentive and accommodating. The host was as cute as can be, and very courteous, quickly sat us. Our server was very attentive and always available. We had to rush out pretty quickly at the end to get to a Sixers game, and they all accommodated us in helping us get out the door faster. wish we tried dessert… Next time!

The food here is always fantastic and the churros are the best I’ve ever had. The Happy Hour deal is good for the value: you can choose from an assortment of tacos priced at $3.50 individually and their house margarita is $7. Service is always outstanding. I’ve tried other Mexican restaurants in the area and I always keep coming back to this one.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while and I’m so happy I finally got there. Our drinks were amazing. The mixologist behind the bar knew what he he was doing . My enmoladas were super good too. Next time I’m having the chilaquiles

For starters i loved the atmosphere it was very peaceful and relaxing. As for the food and drinks they were all good I loved how i got a chance to try and new that that will be on the menu soon that made my night all the better.

Great place, vibrant neighborhood, food was excellent as were the happy hour margs we drank. I would definitely go back but my only nit was the volume of the music, which made conversation difficult at the bar or at the table.

Our first time there and we will definitely go back. The food was delicious, and our waitress was very attentive. I'd turn down the music just a little bit so people can converse, but I did enjoy what they were playing. Overall a good experience.

While we very much enjoyed the food, which was fresh and flavorful, the noise level was way too much for us. Even sitting outside the noise from the interior was annoying and the street noise did NOT add ambiance.

Well-done Mexican food in a pleasant environment. The prices are reasonable and the food is well-presented. Perhaps the only drawback is that the chairs aren't too comfortable.
