The food is very good. I had the baked brie, charred kale salad and the braised short ribs. All of which were outstanding. The only drawback was that the short rib dish was a little light on meat. It was almost as if they ran short on meat, so they had to sparingly dole it out. This was 2nd visit there and we will be back.

Excellent service by a young gentleman who anticipated our needs and fulfilled requests promptly and efficiently. Food was excellent as usual.

My wife and I love this little gem. Great food and creative dishes. I had mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and then was delighted when our server showed up with a complimentary dessert with a candle.

Normally this restaurant would get a 5 star rating from me, but this past Saturday(Mother’s Day weekend) even with a reservation made a week in advance, they could not honor my reservation. If it was just me, no biggie, but with an elderly Mom who is hard of hearing, is bothered by the cold and has trouble maneuvering without assistance, the outdoor accommodation was not at all pleasant. Service was slow and food arrived cold. This is a fabulous restaurant when it’s not crowded and when you can arrange for indoor seating.

The food we all ordered was absolutely delicious! Do not sleep on this gem. Dinner is priced fairly and byob was a bonus.

Support a local restaurant! I’ve passed by La Cannelle several times and always thought it was Italian food. Then I saw an ad in the Media magazine and read that it features Mediterranean food. My wife and I went there in a Thursday night and really enjoyed it. We’re both gluten free and the waitress gave us substitutions to choose from without having to check with the kitchen or up charge us. We had a great experience and will be back for more.

We spent a lovely Sunday evening at La Cannelle. Our meals were delicious - lamb shank and mushroom gnocchi. I also loved the charred kale salad. Our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
