Went with a friend and ordered the chicken hibachi, it was some of the best chicken I’ve had!! Really great price and good atmosphere.

Great food, very friendly service. Place was very quiet as it was late on a weeknight in the jewelry district, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Went with our kids. Casual and no frills but great sushi spot if you’re in this neighborhood. Lots of takeout orders which tells me this is a local go-to spot.

Great sushi restaurant, we went early before the theater. Extensive menu with good mix of new and familiar. Crunchy roll was very good. The sashimi was fresh, cold and delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Plan to go again.

The people were VERY sweet. The miso, Shu Mai and seaweed salad were very good. The dirty salad was kind of weird. They didn’t have a Restaurant Week menu - I ordered off the hostess’s phone. I THOUGHT I ordered sushi but got salmon teriyaki which was WAY overcooked and tough.

The freshest sushi we ever had; melts in your mouth. This is the only restaurant we will eat sushi at, because we never found any other sushi that compares to this. The flavors of the sushi rolls are amazing. Our favorites are the "Caterpillar roll" the tuna and avocado combo is the best; "Naruto Maki roll" which is wrapped with cucumber instead of rice; "Crunchy roll' yummy shrimp tempura; and "Sweet heart roll" is beautiful to look at, but also very delicious too. Their miso soup is the best and the shumai mini shrimp dumpling appetizer is great. They also carry a nice selection of Sake too. The "Fu-ki" Sake pairs the best with the sushi rolls mentioned above. Worth the trip across the bridge.

Place isn’t fancy on the inside but sushi is quite good. Good value compared to some pricier options for sushi in town. Confusing that Google says it’s a BYOB but they serve beer, wine, sake.

Good food & good service. Went for a lunch meeting and suited the purpose perfectly. Could use a lunch special menu, but otherwise very enjoyable.

The food was amazing, and the service was spectacular. We went for resturant week, but ended up just ordering from the regular menu. The seaweed salad, along with each roll and the dessert. The chef JJ came out and talked with us and gave us a little surprise dish. Overall it was a great experience, ill definitely be back

A real hole in the wall...the place smells of grease and old fried food. Menus were sticky and the food was mediocre. Do not recommend

We went to Koto Sushi because of the relatively low prices. We'll go back because of the food. We shared a sushi sashimi combo for two. As the included miso soup and garden salad were tasty, we had our hopes up for the platter. We were pleasantly surprised. Plenty of food for two hungry men, and all was good. The Double T roll was one of the best I've ever had.

Freshest sushi in the tri state area. Always delicious. Can't wait to come back again. Sake is yummy too. Always friendly service too. Love this place.

Overall Overall experience was very positive. Will definitely eat here again. Food Food was very tasty and fresh. Well priced for what you're getting. Good amount of selections on the menu. For about $25(maybe $20), two people can walk away stuffed Service Service was good also. Friendly, attentive and with good follow through Location It's in a low traffic area on a small block. Tuck away just off the hustle and bustle of market street.

Friendly staff, attentive server greeted me as I entered the restaurant. Order was taken less than 5 minutes after I was seated. I ordered the seaweed salad + miso (appetizer), sweet potato roll, shitake mushrooms roll + vegetable roll (entree) and Japanese ice cream(dessert). Everything was deliciously seasoned + beautifully presented. Generous portions! Professional + pleasant staff guarantees a future return visit! Definitely a 5+ star winner!

I love this place. Great sushi, a lot of vegetarian options, plus they do have sake, wine, beer etc. Tables are not too close to each other so you can actually enjoy a conversation without noise around. Friendly service.

A wonderful gem of a restaurant located right in Jewelers Row in Center City. The sushi was amazing as was the teriyaki chicken dinner we had. Service as fantastic and the prices were extremely reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I regret not going to Koto Sushi sooner. Excellent food, service, and value. Dining in was an enjoyable experience and wait staff and management enjoyed having us. Everything was excellent and the big sushi platter was a home run. Will be back soon. 10/10

I have no idea why this place was so quiet - the food was excellent, service was great and the check was reasonable. I hope they get more customers so that they are still there when I'm next in Philly!

Quiet sushi place on Jewelers Row. Nice and quiet on a Monday night. The sushi was very good and the platter fir 2 is really a good deal, definitely enough food for 2 hungry people. We had a very full meal for less than $60.

We absolutely loved this place! The staff was extremely friendly. The service was amazing. We got our food so fast. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed fried dumplings, udon noodles and 3 specialty rolls. All of the rolls were fresh and delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely return.

We tried 6 different sushi rolls everything was amazing and delicious. Try miso lobster soup and sweet heart roll. Can't wait to go back. We try to get here at least once a month. Wish we lived closer so we would be there once a week.

My husband & I ordered the Koto Hibachi - delicious!! The service was great, the food delicious. We will definitely go back. On our way out, the owner introduced himself and thanked us. Nicely done!!

The sweet heart roll is the best, so delicious. The Caterpillar roll also very yummy. All the rolls are great and BYOB too.

My daughter and I dined here on a Friday night. We enjoy Japanese food even if not the most adventurous dishes. We started with a variety of veggie sushi and Agedashii Tofu, then I had the tuna sushi and she had the Yaki Udon. Plus the Chef brought out a fish dish for us to sample. All the food was great. Very fresh. The service was wonderful if only a bit slow (although we were more than a bit hungry). The restaurant is simple but very clean and well decorated. In the end I was surprised that our meal was only $59 plus tip. We will definitely be back.

We decided to try this restaurant when in Philly for the day and had no expectations. It was such a pleasant experience! The Manhattan roll and Lobster Dynamite roll were both spectacular and the pan-roasted Chilean Sea Bass, let me just say OMG! We will definitely return to this cute little establishment and recommend it to anyone visiting Philadelphia.
