Récemment voté « Best Steak » par le choix des lecteurs dans le magazine de Seattle, la maison du steak du restaurateur John Howie vous propose des steaks USDA de première qualité, du bœuf Wagyu américain et australien, ainsi que du bœuf japonais « A% 100 » Wagyu, des poissons et fruits de mer saisonniers frais du Pacifique, des champignons sauvages fourrés et des fruits et légumes provenant de producteurs locaux. John Howie Steak dispose de deux grills à bois : charbon de bois de mesquite et de pommier qui ajoutent des saveurs subtiles aux aliments. La carte des vins propose un "Best of Award of Excellence" de Wine Spectator.     Hamachi Crudo was excellent. Prime bone-in NY was pretty average. $300 for food for 2 here wa overpriced

    First, the service for my father’s 93rd birthday was excellent. Heidi was great and did several extra things for us that made the dinner memorable. Everyone enjoyed their steaks, which were cooked perfectly. My eye of ribeye was on the gristly side but tasted fine. My step-son really enjoyed his fillet sampler. The sides of potatoes purée, broccoli, and mushrooms were excellent. Everyone had cocktails. My manhattan and kamakazi were perfect. They even provided a chocolate cake for my father. Total for seven dinners was $1300 with an extra tip for Heidi.

    Always a great experience. Customer service is second to none. Food is always done just how you want it and the bananas foster is amazing.

    In general, I'd say that the food was pretty good. But after spending >$300 for two of us, without alcohol, I expected a bit more... 1. We arrived early for dinner, at 5pm, so the place wasn't busy. We waited 20+ minutes for the foods, and felt hungry. I thought the bone marrow, which is listed as an appetizer, would arrive early, but it came with the steak. We asked about bread, since we saw others eating bread at their table, was then told that it's extra $$. Come on, I know many steakhouses nickel and dime you for everything, but at least the water was free? 2. After the meal, we noticed the mandatory 20% surcharge. Which is fine. But the waiter then came by and told us explicitly that the 20% only covers the rest of the staff, and implying that I ought to tip some more for him. OK, shouldn't cost of meal cover the cost of the general staff? Instead of a high-end restaurant, I feel like I'm in a budget restaurant where I have to pay additional fees for everything. Sorry, not the experience I was looking for.

    Excellent service from checking in with the hostess to the end of our meal. We were well taken care of and the food was outstanding.
